Capítulo 10: Overwhelming
'Where will we stay at night?'
When this thought occurred to her, her face turned beet red. The usually cold and indifferent expression that she always has, was nowhere to be seen and she was acting like a teenage girl who had just fallen in love...well, she was still a teenager.
She was imagining sharing a room with Ravi and the scene where they were hugging each other in a bed, and then Ravi comes closer to her and...
She couldn't imagine the scene after that and she controlled her heart, saying to herself inwardly,
'It isn't time for that yet Sophia, so calm yourself, it is still daytime.'
Sophia checked the time on the badge and they still had 20 hours remaining.
Sophia and Ravi were now wandering around a park, in front of a flower garden.
Sophia was lost in the beauty of the scene in front of her and she felt truly relaxed.
During the six months she was with Ravi, she always felt a sense of crisis as if she woke up one day and Ravi was gone nowhere to be found, like he never appeared in her life and it was all a dream.
She couldn't imagine what would happen to her if that were the case, but now that she was with him. All of her anxiety was gone, she truly felt that it wasn't a dream and she was together with him, not as a love partner...yet, but she was happy to be with him.
Hanging out around the park, eating in a restaurant and just relaxing with the person she loved, was like a date to her.
'It truly feels like, I am on a date with Ravi. Our second date.'
She remembered the first time Ravi took her out saying it was a date and she couldn't forget that day, it was the day she felt like the happiest girl in her whole existence.
After a while, they both moved out of the park and were just casually strolling through the streets.
The streets were quite lively and were filled with young people.
Some people who were chatting with each other noticed Sophia and began to whisper to each other.
"Isn't she the one who knocked everyone out?"
"Should we go and ask her to join our team?"
"Yes, let's do that. It won't hurt trying."
The two boys, one with green hair and one with red approached them.
"Excuse me, can I have a moment of your time." The red-haired one spoke.
Sophia and Ravi stopped their feet and turned around.
Sophia heard what the red-haired one spoke, though he was talking like a gentleman when Sophia looked at him, she could see lust in his eyes when he looked at her.
"What is it?!" Sophia asked coldly.
If wasn't that she was in a good mood and Ravi was with her. She would have beaten the hell out of him.
'Oh, quite the tough one, is it? I would have fun breaking her.'
"Oh, we saw you earlier and know how powerful you are, so we were wondering if you would like to join us as a team during the entrance." The red-haired one spoke trying to sound polite.
Sophia could still see the way he was looking at her and was disgusted by it. She just wanted to move away from here. So she straight denied him.
"No. I already have a partner."
Sophia then tried to walk away but the guy didn't let that happen and swiftly appeared in front of her.
"By partner, are you referring to this twirp, who is staying silent this whole time?" He said with a mocking grin on his face.
Sophia was infuriated by his speech. First, he was looking at her with lust and that was disgusting for her but now he even dared to mock her beloved in front of her.
'I will kill him right now.'
Sophia's eyes glowed and a small black dot appeared inside her pupil who nobody noticed.
The temperature around Sophia was turning cold and everyone around could feel it. A blue fire surrounded her and the ground beneath her froze.
The red-haired guy didn't fear it, instead, his grin turned even wilder.
He also used his superpower which was fire and looking at the ice surrounding Sophia, he concluded her powers to be controlling ice.
'Against an ice user, I can win easily.'
He released his fire to its max to overpower Sophia and it worked, the ice around her melted and turned into vapor.
The red hair guy laughed seeing the ice turn into vapour.
"Is this all you have got, huh? Quite pathetic with that attitude of yours. Now crawl before me and beg me if you want me to spare you. Hahaha.
"Say 'lord Gray forgive me for my offence and spare my life. I will gladly give myself to you."
The red hair guy whose name was Gray said with the same grin and lust filled his eyes. He was imagining having Sophia beneath him and him ravaging her into submission tonight.
'It will be a fun night tonight...even more fun doing it in front of that twirp. When he hears her scream begging me for more...ahh, I can't wait for that.'
Gray was lost in his imagination and didn't notice the aura around Sophia was changing rapidly.
Sophia's head was hung down and her mind was chaotic, she had lost her temper because of his words. She was so lost that even she didn't notice some crystalline scales appearing on her forehead.
Sophia raised her head and the scales disappeared and no one noticed it. Sophia was glaring at Gray angrily and just wanted to kill him.
Gray didn't fear the glare of Sophia and was still grinning. He didn't even think about the possibility of him losing.
"Keep smiling and you won't even know when you die. You see, I have a unique type of fire and even I don't know what exactly is it?"
'Fire? Isn't her power ice.'
Gray was confused as to why she was referring to her power as fire when it was producing ice but then a scene happened that shocked him or to say froze him in his place.
The fire surrounding Gray was devoured by Sophia's and Gray was turned into ice with his fire. He didn't even know how he was turned into ice.
