Diana stepped forward, her voice trembling. "Ethan, please try to understand. We were worried about how you'd react. You needed to heal after everything that happened between you and Anastasia."

Daniel clenched his fists, frustration bubbling just below the surface. "Heal? What about me healing? I've spent two years trying to move on, only to find out my whole life has been a lie. My daughter was right here, and I didn't even know!" His voice cracked, revealing the pain he'd been holding in. "I really…" He paused, gazing down. "Mom, I really didn't want to ask this, but for the whole two years, was Anastasia here all this time?"

Both of them let out soft sighs of guilt. It wasn't that they hadn't considered their son's feelings, but they felt divided.

"So, she was here all along then. Dumb me…" He turned and walked out of the house.

"Did he find out?" Diya rushed down the stairs.
