The trio soon walked inside an office where a guild employee walked inside leaving a box before leaving.
Alex sat himself behind the desk and invited the duo to take a seat in front of him: "Seat, since we're already here i can register you to the guild."
John took a seat with Muwi on his head, seeing the two seating, Alex pleased, pushed the box and spoke: "This is your share of the profits, exactly 25 gold coins.'"
John took the box and opened it, inside five compartments were there with five gold coins each, he took one out and observed the design.
The coin has the Numi Kingdom symbol, a cursive N, he flipped it and looked at the fine drawing on it: "Beautiful.." John subconsciously said making Alex nod: "Yeah, the Royal family has a good printing machine."
John nodded, immediately inspecting the coin, receiving the recipes soon after, he smiled mentally as the usefulness of his system.
He is now able to craft these gold coins, even through it might take time to make the exact symbol and drawing behind, but what matters is that he can craft money, he will need this when he will make his kingdom.
John placed back the coin and closed the box, moving it on the right, he looked at Alex and spoke: "I suppose I'm not here to just register right?" John was no fool, he knows that nothing is free.
Alex could have just sent him to a normal guid employee but no, he personality led John on his personal office, the meaning is clear.
Alex smiled and praised: "As expected from a promising young man" it felt weird being called young man, especially by an elf that looks the same age as him.
Alex continued: "Let me explain to you how the Adventurer system works." He became serious and explained while John and Muwi listened attentively.
Basically, the Adventurer Guild is divided into two sections:
The guild employees and the adventures.
The guild employees are further divided into various ranks, each with different responsibilities, the quest givers, the accountants, the referees ecc, and they are all below the guild master, who is the one that takes the major decisions.
While the adventurers are divided into the classic ranks, from the weakest [ F Rank ] to the strongest currently registered [ XR Rank ].

The XR Rank is said to be strong enough to destroy a continent, this is why they are extremely rare and can be counted with two hands.
One doesn't need to be an adventurer to be assigned a rank since this power ranking is used by everyone all over the world.
Alex explained that if you have enough money you can give quests to adventures until the S Rank, but after that, money is useless to the higher ranks.
"So you're telling me that you see great potential in me and want to invest in my growth, at the only condition to help you when you need it, and i can even refuse to help." John looked at Alex weirdly.
"You know that i could be a shameless mother fucker that will use you to become stronger and then discard you like trash?" John asked at this weird elf who smiled and said:
"John, placing my trust in you it's my decision, betraying that trust it's your choice." His words made John look at him in a different light.
Alex continued: "I know that a young man like you will dislike to be bound by someone so I'm giving you absolute freedom, and who knows, i might have hit the jackpot." He spread his arms and struggled.
John and Muwi looked at each other and smiled: "Youre a funny guy." Muwi said, while John smiled shaking his head.
"So, it's a yes?" Alex asked hopefully while putting his hand forward for an handshake, John looked at that hand and shook it: "You can have my word, if you will keep yours we will have no problems."
With a handshake the two sealed a new contract where John will give Alex's quests, more priority over the others.

Walking out of the Adventurer guild John breathed a good portion of fresh air, he smiled and looked at Muwi: "Time to mine!" Muwi laughed and the two walked towards the city gate.
After they finalized the contract with Alex, John and Muwi registered as F Rank adventurers since everyone starts from the bottom, no matter the origin.
They also accepted two quests:
The first quest is about destroying a goblin camp, the loot gained from it can be sold at the guild, and in base at how many goblins got killed, a corresponding rewards awaits.
If John and Muwi are also able to save any possible victim, it would be even better, since goblins are known to kidnap females as breeding farms, while the males as food, especially their balls, yes, balls..
Why? John doesn't want to know.
While the second quest is about the gathering of medicinal erbs that are used to brew different types of potions, this quest is a repetitive one, so the more erbs the duo picks the more they gain.
These two quests are simple, the goblin one is of E rank since an Adventurer can accept a quest with a rank in difference, while the medicinal erbs one is also of E rank.
They are directing themselves towards the north gate, after one kilometer, it is rumored that the goblin camp is located in that area, but the medicinal erbs are further north in the Nuki forest .
With John's map it will be a piece of cake.

The two walked for some time until the city gates, and showed their Adventurer ID's to the stationed guards thus passing without difficulty, about the ID's, Alex with his connections, managed to get two official ID's, saving precious time for the two.
The Adventurer Id and the kingdom one are different, with the kingdom one they can travel all over the kingdom without difficulty, but the Adventurer one is more powerful since with it they can also travel on other kingdoms.
But the normal id is still necessary because you need that to buy a house or do some things, so everyone always carries their IDs with them.
John decided to keep the ant loot and not sell it since he doesn't lack money for now, and he wants to craft some armor too.
