Capítulo 23: Knight's Entry
A few cars had entered into an area. Before entering the area, there were several gates to follow. They were opened one by one. In each of those gates there were several guards each were capable to victimizing special forces in combat. There were a huge building in the area. It was made with bulletproof glasses. From an outsiders viewpoint, it'll look like a regular office building. But nobody knows what happened inside of it. It was the headquarter of Criminal Suppression Department. Workers in this department are called CSD. And here officers were ranked by their numbers. The numbers were decided by their achievements. Each 10 officers could create one faction. And above all of them, there was a leader. His name was Roy. Roy by nature wasn't a good guy. He wasn't a bad guy either. He and his team would solve crime, even go against law to defend it. He could even let himself laid by the criminals if necessary for the country. But there was something that could snatch away his attention. Something he would focus more. It was his own family. Criminal Suppression Department had faced super natural cases many times. Among these cases, this one, where Monika, Ronin and several other minor characters were involved, was the toughest one. It's not because this case was hard to solve. In fact this case was fabricated by themselves. It's because this case was forcefully granted upon himself. He was forcefully being controlled by the divinities. It was because this time, something far above had his eyes on Ronin.
Roy was forced to work under him.
Recently an incident had occurred. A mysterious email was sent from a computer where the computer was just a methodology with no involvement in this case. After further investigation, Dan, James and Evan found out drafts leaving clues for their location.
It was in a mansion. An abandoned mansion. As expected, They were ambushed in that mansion. And Zai, the leader of Eagle Sect had taken down two of the members by himself.
Eagle Sect had one intention only. This was to meet their master. Eagle Sect had only one master. All of its members were gathered by the former leader of the Eagle Sect who called himself Eagle . Later Zai had gained its leadership. But Eagle was actually dead. It's only known to Zai. There was a large scale war in Zai's world . It's when Eagle had died. Zai was present on that moment witnessing Eagle's death. Then Zai had used a method. Using a potion which can extract experiences and memories from a dead person. Using those information he had gained the leadership of Eagle Sect . And using a potion that can make and solidify alliance agreements, Zai had taken complete control of Eagle Sect.
If agreements could effect them, shouldn't it be erased after their deaths ???
It's because they had used Revival Potion during the battle against CSD officers.
—No.
It doesn't work like this. Revival potion could only affect the physical body and its death. The agreement was made using higher elements, potions and masterblocks. Which directly connected to their souls. So whenever Eagle Sect members had died, they couldn't free themselves from the agreement. Because their souls were bounded by the effects of the agreement ultimate. The revival potion could only effect their physical bodies and revive it after their death.
So what was the counter against Revival Potion ???
—Destroy the soul before the effect of the revival potion takes place.
For that, soul path methods were also needed to be used.
Zai clearly knew all of this. Thus he was confident that Eagle Sect wouldn't be able to betray him even if they later found out about Eagle's death.

After the battle against Eagle Sect, CSD was forced to return.
Currently a few cars had entered into the area of CSD.
Officers from Faction 10 came outside. One of them had reported,
" Two of CSD officers were dead. We had rescued Dan. Send the medications. "
During that time when CSD went to reinforce Faction 10—when they reached the mansion, a huge blast consisting a lot of TNT and explosions had occurred. The entire abandoned mansion was broken to bricks. Everything had scattered. Only thing that could be seen were black ash and destroyed pieces of bricks . And another was injured Dan. Faction 10 found him unconscious, lying Infront of the mansion while broken bricks were above him. Faction 10 without wasting anymore time had taken Dan into custody and called other factions of large scale investigation. It was needed. Because this time, all of these schemes were targeted against them. So, faction 20, faction 30 had left the headquarters heading towards the abandoned mansion. The investigation was still on going. Dan was brought in the medical room.
First his pulse and heart was checked through a machine. Then all of his clothes were taken off.
Body was full of injuries, cut and burn marks. And there was a paper inside the clothes. The doctors had opened the paper.
Immediately after that, they had reported it to the CSD officers in charge.
CSD 76 was there. He took that small paper. In that paper, there was something written with blood.

This was taken to the other CSD officers as well. Specifically Roy.
After checking the paper, Roy had assumed that this must be a work of otherworldly demon. In other words, this leaves a possibility of a case being super natural. This wasn't the first time they had faced super natural obstacles in their journey to bring control in the nation.
Roy had ordered,
" Bring Dan back at any cost."

Investigation was still on going. First the forest side investigation was done. CSD had collaborated with another team belonging to the army. Sharing their resources and manpower, CSD was able to investigate the whole foresight using drones, navigators,cars . By collaborating with Forest Specialist, they were able to fasten their investigation for that day. Some of the CSD officers also went to the road where the first blast happened. In short, when Faction 10 was heading towards the mansion, a blast had occurred in the way. But Faction 10 decided to ignore it and go ahead while being aware of any other upcoming ambushes. CSD officers also investigated that route to find clues about the first blast.
And some bomb specialists trying to figure out what type of explosives might be used for the blast.
Only thing remained uninvested was the cliff area. In that abandoned mansion, in left side, there was a huge cliff leading to another jungle. In right side there was jungle area.
Right side was already investigated and all they found was few bear and wolf traps. Most of them were rusty and probably set by other hunters according to their estimations.
Now the cliff area was troublesome.
In a short time, the CSD officers in charge of the investigation had received the news of the mysterious paper written by Dan's blood.
" So this was a work of otherworldly demons."
" In other words, another super natural cases."
" These otherworldly monsters just don't leave our planet alone for peace."
" These ba*tards. I'll hunt them one by one."
Almost everyone in charge of the investigation had the same reaction.
One of the officers said ,
" If there are supernatural things happening, this might be possible that they had jumped from this cliff after their works. Because things are supernatural, it's unlikely they'll die from this height."
" You may be right. What should we do ?"
Roy had heard this question from the headquarters. Using microphone and speaker, Roy had told him,
" It's unlikely they'll stay in that cliff forever. Even if they are otherworldly, they aren't a'llat to deal with. Bring back all the CSD officers there."
" Okay sir ."
" We'll find more details when Dan wakes up."
" Okay sir ."
Everybody packed their things and went for their cars. The collaboration also ended with the forest specialist. They were of course given a good amount of payment for this work. And CSD also received a few worthy officers for their department and some resources as well. When this types of large scale terror acts broke out, this types of collaboration were pretty common. In fact it's still a low of a collaboration if we count the other big incidents. It's the same as army collaborating with police for any specific threats. That's how things work.
After leaving the area with the data and benefits, both had taken their paths . Forest specialist from army side had left to another route and CSD did the same. Hoping for a second collaboration as well.
In the Headquarter of Criminal Suppression Department,
After 6 hours of treatment, Dan had finally woke up.
He was bandaged all around his body. He was only wearing a normal pant and he was shirtless. His expression was cold and calculative and he was still lying on the bed looking at the ceiling expressionlessly.
A few officers came to Dan. Along with Roy of course.
Roy looked at him. Roy was the leader of CSD. He had never ever forgotten any name of any officers. Instantly looking at Dan, he could recognise who Dan was, what's his past, what's his number .
Roy asked ,
" How are you Dan ? Congratulations you are alive !!!"
Dan slowly spoke ,
" Where are James and Evan ??"
" Their dead bodies were destroyed upon the blasts. We could only find their scatter body parts. A respected burial will take place for their sacrifices."
" Ohhh... I'm fine right now . I failed sir ."
" No you didn't."
" They enemies were otherworldly. They had super natural power. There is a leader too. We got schemed by him "
" Can you recognise his face and other details?"
" Yeah. I can give you his sketch too. "
Roy then looked at other officers aside him and told ," Bring the sketch artist."
At that time, Agus had entered the room.
He said to Roy,
" I think there was something that had cut all the signals from Faction 10 to Dan's squad. That's why during the fight, we couldn't get any details from inside the mansion."
Roy nonchalantly said , " An invisible barrier. Not the first time. "
On the other hand, Dan was describing Zai's looks.
A guy's face, who was young. His eyes had the darkness possibly only the black hole might contain. His brows combining with his eyes gave him the hunter eyes. His cheekbones were high and very attractive. His forehead, nose and lip ratio was ordinary yet they gave off something like demonic vibes making the facial features very extra ordinary. He had dark red hairs.
Roy glanced at the picture with closer looks. Then Roy told an officer,
" Go and upload this into our network."
The picture was spread.
At that time, a guy had entered the room. He was wearing a white robe, he had golden hair and he was extremely handsome, like that of an otherworldly beauty. He was tall and masculine. He was 34 years old. Yet his looks could put models into shame. Roy and everybody was shocked after seeing him inside the room.
Because of an unknown's entry, everybody took their gun and pointed it towards that unknown person's head.
Roy quickly said
," Security how did this man enter here ? Call everyone. And you. Don't move. Or else..."
Roy couldn't even finish and that man spoke ,
" Or else what ? You gonna shot me ?? Go ahead !"
Roy's pupil had widened.
Agus calmly said ,
" Calm down guys. Roy, did you forget working under him ?"
Roy had an expression after hearing this.
" You are the KNIGHT ??"
" Yeah."
Then the Knight had taken the photo described by Dan.
During that time Roy had told his men to put down the gun.
The knight looked at the photo and wondered something in his head. Then he looked at Roy.
" This Guy is dangerous. From now on I'll lead Criminal Suppression Department !"
Roy curiously asked ,
" Who is this boy ?"
" A crafty, devious and cunning Demon, Zai. My name is Camelon . "
At that time, in Criminal Suppression Department, a man had emerged. That man, whom Roy was afraid of. That man who was threatening Roy from the very beginning to control him using his family members as hostage. That man was Camelon.
A Knight's Entry in CSD !!!
