And uuuh, overwhelming was an understatement. But, walking alongside Verina and Lupina, I couldn't help but feel a mixture of anticipation and trepidation as they guided me through the mansion.

"Ready to meet everyone?" Lupina asked, her cheerful voice breaking the silence. Her orange hair shimmered even in the dim light, and despite her current state—carried in Verina's arms—her warmth was undeniable.

"Yes," I replied, my voice steady. "I want to understand them."

Verina's green eyes glanced at me briefly before she nodded, her stoic demeanor offering a sense of calm. "They've been curious about you. Be prepared for a mix of personalities, but none of them mean harm."
