"Why does your eyes look so sad, as if you are about to cry?" 

Poking the deep frown in between in his brows with his thick index finger, when Aiden mumbled curiously, his voice retrieved Barnes back to the present from the beautiful memories of the past they had shared together in the Remsworth mansion. 

Still holding onto that little flower petal that Aiden had plucked from his hair, just like how his little Master Aiden used to do back in the days, Barnes didn't realize himself getting so indulged in his thoughts, that he forgot about the present day. 

But as if the sad face he retained all this time amidst that anticipating silence between them, it really caught Aiden's attention, and he couldn't stand his curiosity from asking him, "You seemed to be lost in some really deep thoughts…what were you thinking so sincerely?"
