Capítulo 17: Bonding

"So, swim team?" Margo asked going for friendly.

"Oh, umm, yes in high school." Cora replied.

"Did you do any other sports?" Margo asked, her voice full of curiosity.

"Not unless you count fending off the football team at cheerleading practice a sport." Cora laughed, her eyes sparking with amusement.

Margo snorted, a wide grin spreading across her face. "I think that qualifies. You were a cheerleader?" Margo's eyes ran up and down Cora then she looked away for a moment.

Was Margo checking her out? That's ridiculous, she was just looking around. Cora sighed long and low. "Cheer captain for two years." Cora caught a hint of an intoxicating scent. Was that Margo's perfume?

Margo smirked, her face twisting like she had a thought she shouldn't share. "I thought so. You're very… perky." Margo reached behind Cora startling her.
