I know Shanguan Zu Jin was using this moment to put a challenge on my shoulders as well. I already gave them some heavy burdens, and they're getting back at me.

I will surely ask for an explanation from him later on. His gazes were meaningful as if he was trying to read my soul.

"How far? I wonder if they knew about Mt. Everest. Why am I comparing it with a mountain anyway?" I whispered to myself.

"We didn't catch that, Your Highness," A'Zu says. I blink and give them a smile.

"Oh, I apologize. I lost myself in my thoughts. How far? I guess it was how far I made everyone suffer. It will be a long list; that's why I need everyone's help." I look at my hands.

I look at Wu Jinmai's hands. I feel like I saw blood in her hands. Everything that she did kept flashing in the back of my head.
