The grand hall is a sight to behold, with its exquisite decor that is fit for royalty. The walls are adorned with intricate tapestries and paintings that capture the essence of a bygone era. The ceiling boasts a stunning chandelier that casts a warm, golden glow over the room. In the centre of the room, a massive dinner table is set with the finest china, crystal glasses, and silver cutlery. The table is adorned with floral centrepieces that add a touch of natural beauty to the already opulent setting. It is clear that every detail has been carefully considered to make this hall the perfect location for tonight's special dinner.
Today guests are only family members and close relatives which include the Wagh family and Chauhan family (Pihu family).
Mr. and Mrs. Chauhan had already arrived at the hall when Mr. and Mrs. Agnihotri joined them. They exchanged warm greetings and welcomed Mr. and Mrs. Wagah as they entered the hall.
Janvi was punctual and arrived at the hall ahead of everyone else. She looked stunning in her well-fitted dress and exuded confidence with every step she took. Although she isn't a big fan of fashion, she takes pride in her appearance and loves the way she is. She carried herself with grace and poise, greeting everyone with a warm and friendly smile, accompanied by a confident gaze. Her confident demeanor was amazing.
"Oh, my goodness look, how pretty are you looking," Mrs. Agnihotri said with a warm smile.
"Thank you, Aunty." she bowed her head in respect.
"Ohh, Janvi Beta! A young lady like you should get married now." One of the gossip queens Aunty said.
Janvi rolled her eyes internally, still maintaining a fake smile to her,
"Sorry to disappoint you, Aunty. But I want to focus on my career."
"Daughter!! I can't believe you're worrying about your career when you're not even married yet! You'll have plenty of time for that later. Right now, you should focus on looking your best because nobody wants to marry someone with wrinkles on their face. Haha! Just kidding. Don't feel offended."
She started laughing with her gossip gang like she was cracking some funny jokes. Janvi also let out a fake laugh before speaking, " I'm concerned that as with your age, you'll not witness my wrinkles on my wedding day." She mocked back. Smile from Aunty's face drains out.
" Haha just kidding Aunty, Just kidding. Don't be offended." She gave her innocent smile before turning to Mrs Agnihotri.
" Aunty, I will take my leave from here. " She left from there, mumbling to herself, "Bunch of brainless stool pigeon."
As time passes, all eyes turn towards the entrance where Nishal and Vedika make their grand appearance. The duo is renowned for their outstanding fashion sense and is considered the most stylish couple in the Agnihotri family. Confidently walking forward, they are holding each other hands, radiating a sense of satisfaction and pride in their eyes as onlookers gawked at their stunning appearance.
In her stunning dress, Vedika looks absolutely sizzling! Fashion is her passion, and she lives for it. Her impeccable sense of style never fails to turn heads and earn her compliments wherever she goes. Vedika firmly believes in the mantra of always striving to be the best. Her motto is "If you can do better, then why not make it the best?" This motivates her to continuously push herself and her fashion choices to new heights.
Nishal exudes an air of confidence and luxury as he walks in his expensive suit. He takes great pleasure in indulging himself and showcasing his wealth through his clothing, car, and fragrance. His walk, talk, and overall demeanor scream only one thing - he is rich as hell. Nishal is a man of luxury, and he is not shy about showing it off to the world.
After Nishal and Vedika's grand, entry. All eyes are on Aahan and Mrunali. Aahan and Mrunali also arrive, looking stunning as always. The crowd knows them as the perfect duo couple, and they never fail to impress. Despite their hatred to seek attention, they always seem to attract a crowd wherever they go. Mrunali walks gracefully beside Aahan, holding his arm tightly. They make their way through the room, with everyone watching in admiration.
Aahan is a remarkable son who embodies all the qualities that every parent wishes for in their child. His physical appearance is also noteworthy - his features are chiselled and well-defined, and his striking good looks are undeniable. Despite his stoic expression, his beauty is still outstanding, drawing the attention of those around him. However, his demeanor is not one to be trifled with. His aura is commanding and screams "Do not dare to come near me" while his piercing, icy-cold eyes reflect a deep sense of confidence and self-assurance.
Mrunali looks absolutely stunning in her attire. Her choice of clothes perfectly complements her breathtaking demeanor and innocent smile. Everything about her screams "sweetheart". It's hard not to be captivated by her charm and grace.
Her qualities are what most people look for in their ideal partner. She has a kind heart, a gentle nature, and a loving personality. It's no wonder that many people dream of finding someone like her to spend the rest of their lives with.
As the event progressed, the guests' attention was suddenly drawn to the entrance door of the hall. All eyes were fixed on the couple walking in - Naksh and Pihu. The duo was highly respected and admired in the Agnihotri family and beyond, thanks to their impressive achievements and success. They were known to be a powerful couple. Everyone in attendance was in awe of their accomplishments.
Naksh is holding Pihu's waist securely while walking inside.
Today, Naksh has ditched his usual leather jacket and opted for an expensive suit. As he struts around, he exudes an air of confidence about his good looks and charm. It's clear that he's quite obsessed with himself and makes no effort to hide it. Every word he speaks and every move he makes seems to be aimed at impressing those around him.
Pihu looks absolutely gorgeous in her saree, the vibrant colour of the fabric complementing her skin tone perfectly. But what really stands out is her confidence and the unmistakable aura of a successful, accomplished woman that she exudes. She commands attention with her presence and her stunning beauty is just the icing on the cake. It's no wonder that she is admired by so many.
Everyone settled down in the hall. Young people of Agnihotri family standing together. Aahan, Nishal, Pihu, and Janvi have poker faces while Vedika, Mrunali, and Naksh are smiling like a stupid idiot.
As soon as Mr Agnihotri cleared his throat, the room fell silent. Everyone turned their attention towards him, waiting for him to speak. With a heavy voice, he began to address the group, "Hello everyone. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge that tonight's dinner is being hosted because of young members of our family. Please, enjoy yourself."
As he spoke, there was a certain sense of pride in his voice that couldn't be ignored. It was almost as if he was flaunting his child's achievements. However, there was also a hint of arrogance that seemed to seep through his words. Perhaps it was just the way he carried himself, but it was not hard to notice the Agnihotri family's tendency to show off their wealth and success.
"You guys took a long enough time to reach here." Janvi asked with a teasing smile.
" Because a baby in big body, was throwing tantrums in the house." Pihu said with a long sigh.
" I'm not a baby." Naksh defends himself.
"Shut up!" Pihu hissed back while Janvi raised her eyebrows,
"This dumbass literally tries more than twenty expensive suits, even if they all are the same." Pihu said in a crying manner.
"They all are different." He again defended himself.
"I said, shut up! " She glared at him.
Janvi and Vedika let a laugh, they are aware of Naksh's tantrum about clothes.
"Aw! My poor twin," Mrunali said while side-hugging Pihu, while Aahan scoffed.
"What?" Mrunali asked.
"You're not different from him." He points out.
" I'm different from him." She responds.
Aahan raised his eyebrow which means, "how?"
" My clothes have variety, but not his." She explained.
Aahan narrowed his eyes a little bit and said nothing.
"You're not believing me?" She speaks further.
Aahan shrugged his shoulders.
" You believe or not. I'm speaking the truth."
"You both are so cute." Vedika said while cooing at them.
"Shut up," Both Mrunali and Aahan said together while Vedika rolled her eyes at them.
*****************
As the delightful dinner came to an end, most of the guests bid their goodbyes and left the hall, leaving behind only the family members at the table. The atmosphere was calm and serene as everyone indulged in the dessert that was served. However, the peaceful atmosphere was short-lived when Nishal, who was sitting beside Janvi, accidentally dropped his drink on her beautiful dress. The entire family was taken aback by this sudden incident, and Janvi seemed upset and angry by the incident.
"WHAT THE HELL?" She screamed jumping up from her seat.
"Oh my God! " Vedika gasped and walked toward Janvi to help her clean her dress with tissue.
Nishal didn't even bother to look at her and started eating like nothing happened.
This behaviour of Nishal adds more fuel to Janvi's anger.
"GOD GAVE YOU THAT ORGAN OF VISION FOR SOME REASON." She shouted.
The family members watched curiously as Nishal continued to ignore her during their argument. As per the Agnihotri tradition, it was a rule that 'The younger members should never intervene in the arguments of their elders, and vice versa.'
"It's a mistake." Vedika defends her husband.
"Yeah. It was a mistake that happened when you said 'yes' to his marriage proposal." She retorted.
Vedika fell quite down by Janvi replied, "What did you say?" Nishal said gritting his teeth while glaring at Janvi.
"Ohh! So you can hear me. I thought you lost the ability to hear with your vision." She sassed.
"What did u say?" Nishal glared at her.
"Shut up, if you can't hear me." She retorted.
"Or what If I not?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Come to me and I will shut you up myself by beating you with my bare hands." She hissed.
"Watch ur mouth! " Nishal warns her.
"You started it first. Now don't cry about it." She shouted.
"You just know how to fight every time."
"And you know how to poke your nose every time." She remarked.
"You just know how to run ur mouth or nothing."
"Well, at least I know that. But you don't know how to behave with people and how to apologize for your mistake."
"What mistakes?"
"That you spilled juice over my dress and that was a mistake. You can't even accept your fault." He snarled at him.
"You literally lost ur mind for making small things into big issues."
"And you lost your manners." She shouted again.
They're back to the fourth fight disturbed by Vedika interrupting them, "It's Just a mistake Janvi."
"But I never heard him apologizing like normal people do."
"I apologized on behalf of him." Vedika said.
"Why...?"
"Means?" Vedika asked with confusion over her head.
"Why do you feel the need to apologize on his behalf? Did you eat or sleep for him? Then why apologize for him? As far as I know, he's perfectly capable of speaking for himself. So why isn't he apologizing? Is his male ego too fragile to handle it?" A wide smirk spreads across her face as she watches Nishal grit his teeth.
"Indeed, Nishal should apologize for his mistake." Naksh also agrees with Janvi's statement.
"I will not apologize." Nishal growled.
Naksh raised his eyebrows at him, "Don't be a pain in the ass here... Just say a stupid sorry." He growled back.
"Yeah," As Aahan gazes directly into Nishal's eyes, his response is delivered with an unwavering sense of authority, despite the brevity of his words. It's hard not to be captivated by his commanding presence.
Nishal clenched his fist tightly and said,
"I will not apologize to this girl, not in this life."
