Capítulo 52: Chapter 52 Nan Xi is held hostage

When Nan Xi saw the scene in the hospital room, she clenched her fists in anger.

She was uncontrollably furious.

Du Guokun was lying on the hospital bed, legs crossed, sipping on alcohol while watching TV, looking utterly relaxed, nowhere near appearing sick.

Seeing Nan Xi come in, he immediately put down the bottle and said with a smile, "My sweet daughter, daddy has been waiting for you, you finally came."

"Du Guokun..." Nan Xi couldn't help yelling, "Have you no humanity left? Weren't you supposed to be sick? You seem perfectly fine now."

Du Guokun immediately clutched his chest, "Ouch, it hurts, my heart hurts, quick, call a doctor for me."

"Stop acting."

"Since you're fine, I'm leaving."

With that, Nan Xi didn't want to stay a moment longer and headed straight for the exit.

However, just then, several burly men suddenly stepped forward at the door, blocking her way.

"Du Guokun, what is this supposed to mean?" Nan Xi turned around and angrily looked at him.
