Kelly’s POV

“Is something wrong?”

I lifted my face to look at Pierce and slowly shook my head as I entered Snow’s hospital room. Pierce was sitting beside her, caressing her hair. I walked towards them and kissed Snow’s forehead.

“How are you feeling, sweetheart? Are you hurt somewhere?”

Snow smiled and shook my head. “No, mommy. Aunt Emily and Aunt Ana were there to save me. They’re my heroes, just like you.”

I smiled and nodded at her before looking at Pierce.

“Ana’s in the other room. She has a minor burn.”

“Thank you, Pierce.”

“You’re always welcome.”

Sitting on the couch was Emily, silently watching us. I pressed my lips together and walked towards her. I sat beside her.

“Is everything alright?”

I took a deep sigh. “Your husband called me again. He’s manipulating me again, saying he’s not the one who started the fire and he can’t harm anyone I love because he wants my forgiveness.”

Emily held my hand. “So, are you going to believe him?”
