Capítulo 16: Kiara Kwin's POV
''Ugh...''
What was that pounding headache? I tried to adjust on my bed, but something was restricting my movements.... wait a minute...The previous events hit me like a slap, and I realized what was holding me.
I snapped my eyes opened and glared at Xavier who had a look of shock on his face which instantly melted away to one of awe.
''Get. Off. Me'' I said in my deadliest voice. it was then that i realized that my left arm wrapped around him and my leg over him. I flushed hard in embarrassment.
Xavier soon snapped out of it and looked smugly at me.
''Hey. Am not the one getting all smugly over here-'' Before he could finish, I kneed him in the groin and shot off the bed.
He bent over in pain as i marveled at how my speed had increased.
that's when I remembered Hailey! what had happened to her! ? I whipped out my phone, and before I turned it on, I caught a glimpse of myself.
NO FUCKING WAY
I grabbed a list full of my now silver hair and brought it to my view, my phone falling to the floor long for long gotten.
I heard Xavier chuckle and turned to glare at him.
he had already healed and just sat there with that his stupid smirk.
"Surprised?" he asked teasingly.
I only stared back at him. His smirk vanished and his expression turned serious.
''I kinda had a hunch this might happen but I didn't really think you'd be able to manage that sort of power '' Then in a lower voice he added, ''I thought it'd kill you''.
I gasped in shock. No wonder I passed out. And did Xavier look sad?.
''Wouldn't you have been happy by then. Surely, you'd want to see me dead knowing that I was the one prophesized to unlock the full strenght of the witches'' I fired at him.
His smirk appeeared back.
''Yeah, but that would mean taking all of the witch queen's powers with you'' Then he turned serious again and got off the bed and approached me.
''Look, I know this might sound crazy but I...'' He took a deep breath, ''I think I really like you''.
