"If anything goes wrong later, Charles, you need to step in and help." Lucas said with a grin. 

Charles opened his mouth slightly, surprised, and asked, "Me? What can I do as a Level 4 Beast Master?" 

Inside the trial tower, there was Lucas, a Level 9 Beast Master, Jamie, an Level 8 Beast Master, and other Level 7 Beast Master teachers. 

If anything were to happen, did they really need Charles to intervene? 

"You just need to stand next to me. If you sense something is off, hold onto this staff, and you won't have to do anything else." Lucas replied, still smiling.
