Capítulo 93: War I

Sam stayed at the mansion that night so he could be ready to take Megan to seventh realm first thing in the morning. He seemed uncomfortable at first, but everyone could see that Megan was completely focused on the coming war.

 There was no room for anything else in her head that night. Megan went to bed after a final strategy session. They covered the main concerns for over an hour before she excused herself to get a shower and some sleep before the big day.

Gabriel had hoped for some time alone with his wife. He knew it was selfish, but he feared the coming day as much as he anticipated meeting his son. However, when he entered the bedroom Megan was deeply sleeping and he didn't have the heart to wake her up. Instead, he showered before climbing into bed hoping he too could have a restful night of sleep.
