That same night…

"You're sure that's what she said? Megan North is pregnant with Gabriel's child?" South's voice came over a speakerphone.

"Absolutely, should I concentrate on a kill instead of capture, sir?" Renner felt this news was bound to get him off of guard duty. He was so bored and dirty. He hadn't showered in forever. He hadn't gotten laid in weeks whether willing or unwilling

"No. Are you crazy? That child is my blood relation." South snapped. Renner had forgotten that part.

"You do not engage. Report anything that you hear outside daily routines. Megan will need to leave for doctor's appointments and such. Track but you do not try to capture her unless there is zero risk of harm to her and the child. Zero risk, do you understand me?" South ordered.

"I understand but how will we ever get close with no risk of harm with that beast watching her every move."
