"Ah, I see," Ruby's eyes widened with understanding, as she nodded slowly, her ponytail bobbing up and down. "Then, who will I stay with? Grandpa?"

Valerie's head shook swiftly, "No! Not your grandpa, but your great grandma," she clarified, her eyes sparkling with amusement, as she watched Ruby's face, waiting for her funny reactions.

Ruby's eyes widened like saucers, her face alight with excitement, as she bounced up and down, her small hands clapping in anticipation. "Nanna?! Mommy, you're finally taking me to see Nanna?!" she exclaimed, her voice trembling with joy, her words tumbling out in a happy rush, as she danced around the kitchen.

Valerie's laughter echoed against the kitchen walls, a warm and melodious sound. "Yes, sweetie. You seem very happy," she said, her voice filled with delight, her eyes crinkling at the corners as she gazed at her daughter, her face radiating joy and affection.
