Capítulo 57: Bundle of joy

After returning home, Valerie decided to make dinner before Greg returned. She was busy in the kitchen, the aroma of sautéed vegetables and simmering sauce filling the kitchen, when Ruby strutted in with her phone, "Mommy, you have a message." Ruby's eyes sparkled with excitement, her ponytail bouncing with each step. She handed Valerie the phone, her small fingers wrapping around it as if it was a precious treasure.

Valerie wiped her hands on a towel and took the phone from Ruby, smiling at her daughter's enthusiasm. "Thanks, sweetie," she said, scanning the screen. Her eyes lit up when she saw the email from Sinclair Global Enterprise, her heart racing with excitement. She had been waiting for this moment for days!

"Mommy, what is it?" Ruby asked, her curiosity piqued. She climbed onto a stool, her eyes fixed on Valerie's face, eager to share in her excitement. "Mommy, is there good news?"
