Both are from the Five Kage villages. And I am from the Fire Village. Summoning Flame Dragon Armour is very symbolic. It all adds up!
Han was stunned. This was not scientific! How could a ninja suddenly be covered in armour?
Satoru rolled his eyes at him, his voice echoing through the mask of his Flame Dragon Armour. "In theory, since you're from the Stone Village, you could summon Earth-Tiger Armour, which is much more advanced than whatever material your current armour is made of."
Han was bewildered. Stone Village, he understood, was another name for Iwagakure. But what was Earth-Tiger Armour?
"Forget it. I don't want to discuss these boring things with you. Do you think a mere armour can withstand the power of a tailed beast?"
Massive amounts of steam erupted from Han's blood-red armour, accompanied by a train-like roar, propelling his entire body forward.
Satoru dodged easily with a flicker of his body. Han barely managed to counteract the inertia from his high-speed movement, a trace of shock flashing in his eyes.
"How can you be so fast?"
Earlier, Satoru had demonstrated decent reaction speed, but nothing as monstrous as this. Han, taking this fight seriously, couldn't even touch Satoru's clothes?
"It's not that I'm too fast; it's that you're too slow," Satoru rolled his eyes again inside the armour. Han's steam propulsion was indeed terrifying, a nightmare for regular ninjas. But unfortunately, he was up against Satoru.
The Flame Dragon Armour, made from magnetic fluid, allowed Satoru to apply electromagnetic propulsion from all angles, a stark contrast to Han's steam propulsion. In terms of power efficiency, thrust, and overall effectiveness, Han's steam propulsion was completely outclassed. It was like comparing the Industrial Revolution to modern sci-fi technology.
If this weren't the case, the U.S. wouldn't be so keen to replace the outdated steam catapults on their aircraft carriers with the latest electromagnetic ones.
Currently, only the U.S. Ford-class and China's Fujian-class carriers have adopted electromagnetic catapult technology.
Han, refusing to give up, gritted his teeth and launched himself at Satoru again with another steam blast. Speed equals power. His formidable taijutsu was built on the terrifying kinetic energy granted by his speed, converting it into a destructive force upon impact.
But if he couldn't even touch Satoru, it was useless.
Satoru's armour sparked with electricity as he effortlessly dodged Han's attack again, looking down at him.
"Too crude," Satoru thought. Han's steam catapult was crude in both energy utilization and inertia cancellation. It relied purely on the enormous power provided by the Five-Tails, charging recklessly. Against the refined electromagnetic catapult, it was thoroughly outmatched.
"Damn it! How can this be?" Even the seasoned Steam Ninja Han, usually calm and composed, was infuriated by Satoru's continuous evasion. His proud steam taijutsu couldn't even touch Satoru's clothes. It was unscientific!
"You've been attacking for a while. Isn't it my turn now?" Satoru's cold voice cut through the armour, reaching Han's ears, who was instantly alarmed. Before he could react, a blue lightning-wrapped figure appeared before him.
"So fast!"
Satoru's right fist struck Han's abdomen heavily.
"Flame Fist!"
Han's body bent like a shrimp, his stomach churning violently, causing him to vomit uncontrollably. Without stopping, Satoru spun and kicked Han, sending him flying. The red armour cracked under the impact, and spider-web fractures spread across its surface.
"One kick to break you apart!" Satoru clapped his hands, coldly watching the fallen Han.
Around them, both Konoha and Stone Shinobi couldn't help but twitch. Han, the renowned Steam Ninja, was known for his taijutsu prowess, surpassed by few. Yet he was easily beaten by Satoru? Wasn't it said he wasn't proficient in taijutsu?
Han struggled to his feet, opening his visor to wipe the mess from his mouth. "It seems Onoki's intel had significant errors. I underestimated you, Hyuga's Magnet Release ninja."
He glared coldly at Satoru. As he spoke, a torrent of ominous chakra surged from him. Was he about to transform into the tailed beast? Satoru's expression grew serious. In the heart of the battlefield, surrounded by countless ninjas, the full transformation would result in massive casualties on both sides.
Han seemed to read his thoughts. "No need to fully release the Five-Tails. This state will suffice."
Dark red chakra surged around him, vaguely forming the shape of the Five-Tails. The Five-Tails Chakra Mode? His control over the tailed beast chakra was impressive.
"Can you still dodge now?" Steam erupted from Han's chakra-covered body, much more intense than before, as he charged at Satoru.
The nature of his attack hadn't changed, still relying on steam propulsion. However, the chakra from the Five-Tails significantly boosted its power and speed.
Satoru analyzed the situation instantly. "If that's the case, let's see who's tougher!"
His armour crackled with electricity as he transformed into a bolt of lightning, meeting the charging red figure head-on.
Boom!
The collision sent shockwaves across the battlefield, flattening the grass beneath them. To the astonishment of onlookers, the two figures, one cloaked in red steam, the other in lightning, clashed repeatedly, creating afterimages on the grassland.
The ninjas nearby had to brace themselves to withstand the powerful gusts from their clashes.
"Does Satoru have this kind of ability, too?" Jiraiya raised an eyebrow in surprise, seeing the fierce exchange. "Is this also a part of the Magnet Release?"
He glanced at Minato beside him.
"Probably..." Minato stammered. Though he trusted Satoru, he hadn't expected him to wield such unseen abilities, fighting Han to a standstill.
Minato furrowed his brow, contemplating the best name for this new ability.
