Daikichi Fujino stood there with his mouth agape. In his twenty-plus years of teaching, he had never encountered a ninja with a double bloodline limit. Having one bloodline limit was enough to make someone stand out, but having two? That was terrifying.
But the scene of the kunai changing its trajectory before hitting Hyuga Satoru was too clear. There was only one possible explanation.

Sarutobi's hand froze mid-action. He looked up at the Anbu member, speaking gravely.
"Is this information accurate?"
"Yes."
Sarutobi fell silent. He knew Fujino Daikichi well. Fujino was one of the most senior teachers at the academy, having nearly twenty years of teaching experience. His judgment on such matters should be reliable.
There was only one possibility.
Sarutobi's eyes gleamed. That Hyuga student had indeed awakened a double bloodline limit. However…
He frowned. It seemed implausible.

"Yes!" The figure beside the desk vanished.
Exhaling a long stream of white smoke, Sarutobi leaned back in his chair, a weary expression on his face.

"Yes."
The hall fell silent.
After a moment, Mizuki asked, "In the nearly thousand-year history of the Hyuga clan, no one has ever awakened another bloodline limit. Why did you?"
The others also looked at Satoru, waiting for his answer.
Satoru shook his head. "I don't know."
There was no way he could answer that question, so he had to deny it.
"When did you awaken it?"
"When I received news of my father's death. I felt like the sky was falling, and something seemed to explode in my mind. I lay in bed for days. When I woke up, I noticed something different about myself."

Sure enough, after a long silence, Mizuki nodded, seemingly accepting Satoru's explanation.
Just as Satoru breathed a sigh of relief, Mizuki looked up and stared directly at him.
"If you awakened this new bloodline, why haven't you ever trained at the clan's practice grounds or informed us?"
