The next morning, the air was thick with tension as Fu Yan found himself standing outside the house. Hirvan, his face a mask of fury, stood in the doorway, eyes blazing with anger that seemed to cut through Fu Yan like daggers.
"Goodbye! Don't even think about coming here ever again!"
Hirvan's voice was sharp, filled with venom as he spat out the words.
Before Fu Yan could even open his mouth to respond, Hirvan slammed the door shut with a deafening bang, the sound echoing through the quiet Sunday morning. The force of the door rattled the windows and surely woke up the entire neighbourhood. The abruptness of it all left Fu Yan standing there, stunned, as the reality of what had just happened began to sink in.
Fu Yan felt a wave of resignation wash over him.
"Ah!…. I had really messed up last night!"
He muttered under his breath.
