We had to get up early, at this time there was a heavy snowfall, but apparently they did not cancel the tour to the temple, I was a little nervous about the wind, luckily it was not too strong to scare me, but I was afraid that it could happen at any time.

Without further ado we took the bus, as the temple was a 30 minute drive up the mountain, the bus was full of people who accompanied us who were also going with us on the tour. The snow had not stopped, but luckily for me it had not worsened.
Upon arrival I think we were all dumbfounded, we knew that the temple was big, but this was ridiculous, the construction dating from the year seventeen hundred approximately, was about fifty meters or more, it was also full of cats, and when I say full, is that only at the entrance there were more than a hundred, the first thing that impressed were eight stone columns carved to the ceiling, and the ceiling was about ten meters high.
On the pillars were carved ancient hieroglyphs, many in the shape of cats. The history of the temple told that a god who was expelled from the heavens for sleeping with the wives of other gods was exiled when he was caught sleeping with the daughter of the god of lightning, then he was thrown to earth in the form of a snow cat. Legend has it that since he fell on this mountain, he helped lost humans and guided them to an ancient village that unfortunately no longer exists. The myth also arose that many women in that village ended up pregnant without supposedly having a partner, so they attributed to him that the god who walked with the mortals occasionally went out to have fun, and he loved young girls.
Eventually they made a temple in his name to the god Nekosis, the god protector of the mountain, cats and fertility, shortly after the creation of the temple, began to arrive snow cats quite friendly with humans, and later also began to arrive cats of all kinds, that part that at least if it is true still do not know the reason why cats are attracted to this place.
Honestly I did not believe any of the legend, it was interesting, but with all that I had lived if they gave me at least something that looked like a proof that this god existed I could believe it.
We continued going inside the temple while the guide was telling us the history of the place or things that were happening.
Like the time a hundred years ago when the monk who was in charge called Mu ku, had an accident in the mountain because of the snow, he fell down a cliff breaking his leg, he thought he was going to die in that place, in fact they tell us that after the fall he was unconscious, and when he regained consciousness a giant snow cat dragged him to the temple.
They took us to a kind of showcase where the diary of that man was, the diary was just open in the pages that told just what the guide said.
Aki didn't believe the stories at all, but she was delighted with the place, and at least this time she didn't feel bad because the cats didn't interact with her.
Walking sometimes was difficult because of the amount of cats that were in the place because from hundreds they became thousands, curiously the place didn't even smell of cat urine or their excrement, I wondered how they kept the place so clean.
Emi took pictures of almost everything she saw, from time to time she also took pictures of herself, it was funny that from time to time she dropped her phone when she tried to pose as she could only use one hand.
Afterwards we were taken to the main section that again surprised all the people who attended the tour, a giant statue of the bronze God Nekosis, the guide said that the statue was twenty-five meters high, and that in this place the ceiling height was the highest with thirty-five meters high, here there were also several columns as we saw at the entrance, also with hieroglyphs, but this time one of them caught my attention.
I took off my necklace, to see it better, the one on the column with mine were the same, I did not know what the column said, but it was undoubtedly the same necklace.
-Aki, look at this.
I showed him the necklace first to which he was surprised and then I showed him the necklace carved on the pillar.
-They are the same Hika, but it's not possible? isn't it?
-I have no idea Aki, I really don't know, I'd better take a picture and send it to Asuna, maybe she can know something or find out.

Emi approached me curiously, she saw that I was talking to nothing, so she imagined that I was talking to Aki. Emi grabbed my hand where I was holding the necklace to see Aki too, but I was scared because I didn't expect it.

I put on the necklace and kept it between my clothes so that it wouldn't be seen so Emi stopped seeing Aki.
Aki began to pull me by my clothes, she told me to approach the statue and without having to tell me anything, I understood what she wanted to show me, the snow cat had the same necklace I was wearing, but carved on the statue.

At this point I was not understanding many things, but I was sure of one thing, this temple was somehow connected to what was happening, I don't know how, but it was.
I took a picture of the statue and sent it to Asuna as I did with the column.
The guide asked us all to approach the center of the temple, asking us to be careful with the cats.
-As a special reason for today, I will leave you with the temple procurator, who will allow us to enter the oldest chamber of the place where the challenges of the God Nokosis rest, so I introduce Miss Riko Nishimura.
We couldn't help but freeze with Emi.
Our mother was in front of us, chatting away asking the whole group to accompany her to see the room, but we could barely move both Emi and I, who held our hands.

I don't think she had noticed us because she kept talking while she was walking, that we couldn't take pictures, because the flash of the cameras could ruin the camera which is kept in the dark, that's why cell phones were requisitioned before entering, so they put a sign for us to leave them there.
When she stopped to open the door was when she became aware of our presence, she was as mute at first as we were, Emi was squeezing my hand tightly, in fact she was hurting me, but even she was more afraid than I was.
