"You are in your rut?" I blurt out. 

Erwin nods, "Yes." 

"So, what's wrong with that?" I ask concernedly, "You are in pain. Let me help you."

"No, Leo." He gently frees his arm from my grip, "You don't know about it. I become very violent and aggressive when I am in my ruts. I even hurt some of my past partners during sex in my rut period. I basically become an animal during this time. I don't want to hurt you too."

"No, Erwin." I firmly oppose him, "I want to help you. I don't care whether you hurt me or not. You help me to go through my heat, so now it's my turn to help you through this time. Let me help you, please." I plead with him. 

"No, Leo listen to me." Erwin grabs my arm, his grip is way firmer than usual, and the force is making me wince, "I don't know how to control myself during this time. So I will end up hurting you."
