Blood gushed from Whiplash's entire body, the sheer force of the punch rupturing his veins and tearing his flesh. He had foolishly attempted to absorb the power behind Su Chen's strike, utilizing his energy absorption ability. However, his body was far too fragile to contain such an overwhelming force.

It was like trying to fill a fragile bucket beyond its capacity—eventually, the wooden boards would crack under the pressure. Whiplash's body was no different; as the immense energy overflowed within him, his flesh split apart, and blood streamed down in torrents. Along with the blood, the energy he had absorbed moments earlier poured out, uncontrollably.

This was the same Whiplash who had, just moments before, arrogantly proclaimed his superiority, believing himself unmatched. But now, as his lifeblood drained away, the stark reality of his limitations became painfully clear.

The moment Su Chen's fist made contact, Whiplash's attack—a desperate punch aimed at Su Chen—was also unleashed. The force of the punch surged into Su Chen's body, but it was as though a stone had been tossed into a vast lake. The energy merely rippled through Su Chen, causing minor disturbances that quickly settled, leaving Whiplash's punch to dissipate into nothingness.

"No... it can't be..." Whiplash's voice quivered as the truth of their vast power difference dawned on him. Standing so close, yet so impossibly far, he finally understood that Su Chen was an opponent he could never hope to defeat. His body, now broken and beaten, collapsed to the ground, his life ebbing away.

"Next," Su Chen's cold voice echoed, emotionless, as if he had merely swept aside a nuisance.

Far away, atop a distant mountain, Maximus's face drained of color. Su Chen's voice reverberated in his mind, a clear sign of his mental prowess. Maximus, a skilled telepath himself, recognized the danger immediately. Su Chen was no ordinary foe; he was another mental powerhouse, capable of directly intruding upon Maximus's mind.

A shudder passed through Maximus as he sensed a ripple in the spatial fabric surrounding him. Su Chen was about to attack, crossing vast distances in an instant.

"No!" Maximus, foreseeing the assault, moved quickly, his body propelled by a desperate surge of energy as he leaped away. But it was futile. A moment later, Su Chen's lean, formidable figure materialized from the ripples of space, closing the gap between them effortlessly.

Before Maximus could react, he felt an invisible force seize him, pulling him back towards Su Chen. He struggled in vain, his attempts to escape thwarted as though he were a puppet on strings.

"Damn it!" Maximus unleashed his psychic abilities, directing a concentrated mental assault at Su Chen. He poured every ounce of his mental power into the attack, shaping it into a sharp blade aimed directly at Su Chen's mind. But the assault met an impenetrable barrier, the psychic equivalent of a fortified dam, effortlessly halting his advance.

Despair clawed at Maximus. How could Su Chen be immune to every psychic attack he threw? How could this mutant walk unscathed through the Terrigen Mist that had transformed or killed countless others? In the face of such invulnerability, Maximus felt a creeping, suffocating dread.

At that very moment, as despair reached its peak, a powerful spatial distortion enveloped Maximus, spiriting him away from Su Chen's grasp. In an instant, he was gone, swallowed by a swirling vortex.

"Interesting," Su Chen mused, his gaze shifting to the nearby mountain.

There, a new figure stood—tall, imposing, and clad in a tight, black combat suit. His aura was one of regal arrogance, cold and indifferent, as though he viewed the world from a lofty perch. Beside him was a large dog named Lockjaw, known for its ability to teleport across vast distances with just a thought. It had been Lockjaw who had rescued Maximus.

Maximus, disheveled and shaken, tumbled to the ground near the newcomer. "Damn it..." he muttered under his breath, frustration evident in his voice. But as the oppressive, commanding presence of his brother, Black Bolt, enveloped the area, Maximus quickly composed himself.

"Welcome, Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans... to Earth," Maximus greeted, wiping the cold sweat from his brow, trying to mask his earlier panic. He knew better than to show weakness in front of his brother, who was as feared as he was respected.

"So, you're the leader of the Inhumans," Su Chen murmured, his eyes narrowing as he sized up the newcomer. From the memories he had extracted from various Inhumans, Su Chen had learned much about Black Bolt, a being whose power was said to be enough to destroy worlds with a single word. Even among his own kind, Black Bolt was a figure of awe and terror.

And now, that awe-inspiring figure was preparing to strike.

No, not strike—speak.

"Die," Black Bolt commanded, his voice carrying a tone of disdainful finality. It was not just a word; it was a death sentence, an utterance of such unimaginable power that it could shatter mountains and level cities.

Boom!

The sound of Black Bolt's voice was like the roar of a god, sending a massive shockwave ripping through the landscape. Mountains crumbled, collapsing into dust and rubble under the force of the sonic onslaught. The earth quaked, and the sky seemed to tremble as the sheer destructive power of Black Bolt's voice tore through the air.

Su Chen was caught directly in the path of the sonic devastation. The ground beneath him split and fractured, entire sections of the city falling into gaping chasms as the shockwave continued its relentless advance.

Black Bolt's voice was a cataclysm, an apocalyptic force that could end worlds. Yet, as the dust settled and the last echoes of destruction faded, one figure remained standing.

Su Chen hovered in the air, his arms outstretched, his body surrounded by a thin but resilient energy barrier that absorbed and dissipated the sound waves. The impact had been tremendous, pushing Su Chen to his limits. His eardrums had ruptured, and even his mind had been shaken by the relentless assault.

But he endured.

The system quickly processed the damage, feeding back the improvements made to Su Chen's body in response to the overwhelming attack.

Maximus, observing from the ground, let out a triumphant laugh. "You should consider yourself lucky that Black Bolt didn't remove his limiter. Otherwise, you'd be dead already! You should kneel and submit before the true king, or be crushed like those mountains!"

But Su Chen remained unfazed, his gaze fixed on Black Bolt, who stood with his arms crossed, exuding an air of supreme confidence. The king's cold eyes stared back at him, full of silent, royal contempt.

The battle was far from over.
