Capítulo 25: Hayden in Peril
As soon as Hayden opened the door and saw the strangers standing outside, she was shocked. During the phone call, she had been told that only Sylas would come to rescue her, so she couldn't understand why there were three men. Moreover, these men were older and clearly not the young Sylas.
"Who are you?" Hayden asked cautiously.
"It's Hayden!" one of the men exclaimed.
"Oh My God, I'm lucky! I can't believe I ran into Hayden here," Randall said, his eyes gleaming. After all, this was Hayden—famous, beautiful, and with a stunning figure.
In the peaceful days, they could only admire such a woman from afar, with no chance of getting close. But now things were different. With no laws to hold them back, they could do whatever they wanted. Even making Hayden their slave was something no one would stop.
"Let's go inside," Randall said, signaling his men to follow him into the house. He also instructed them to lock the door behind them, not because he feared someone would come looking, but to prevent a zombie attack.
"Stay back! My boyfriend will be back any moment," Hayden quickly said.
"Oh, so that's why you were so eager to open the door," Randall realized. That explained why Hayden had opened the door so quickly after his knock.
However, this misunderstanding worked in their favor. If Hayden hadn't opened the door, they wouldn't have been able to get in. Now that they were inside, Hayden's boyfriend would be locked out. Randall chuckled at the thought.
Randall's grin terrified Hayden. He said, "Hayden, don't be afraid. We won't hurt you. In fact, we're all your fans. We really like you."
"We're lucky to have found you here. Since your fans have met you, don't you think you should give us a little treat? You know, a fan's treat."
"What are you talking about? I don't understand. Leave now! My boyfriend is really strong. When he gets back, you're all dead," Hayden said, her voice trembling with emotion, nearly crying.
She regretted opening the door so hastily, but it was too late for regrets now.
Randall, still smiling, said, "Don't you understand what I'm saying? I'm talking about a fan's treat. Have you seen Japanese movies? Those stars show their appreciation by serving their fans. I like that idea."
"Come on, why don't you come over here and serve us yourself? If you do, we won't hurt you," Randall laughed.
Not only Randall but also his two men were laughing. The only one who couldn't laugh was Hayden. She felt utterly desperate, unable to smile. She had lost hope in Sylas, realizing that even if he came, he wouldn't be able to save her against three strong men.
"Please, let me go," Hayden pleaded.
Randall's smile disappeared, replaced by a cold sneer. "Let you go? No way. It's been a long time since my buddies and I have had a woman."
"Now that we've found you, we're not letting you go."
"You have two choices. First, come over and serve us well. If you do, we won't hurt you at the start."
"Second, you can choose to resist, but there are three of us. Do you really think you stand a chance?"
"If we get upset, we'll break your arms and legs and make you crawl on the ground like a bitch. Either way, you'll entertain us."
Hearing these words made Hayden tremble with fear, her body shaking uncontrollably.
At that moment, there was a click, and the door opened.
"What the hell? Didn't I tell you to lock the door? How did someone manage to open it?" Randall cursed, thinking his men had left the door unlocked, allowing someone to use a key to get in.
Randall's two men were also stunned. They clearly remembered locking the door. How could it have been opened?
The door swung open, and Sylas walked in. His expression was calm. He had heard the conversation inside while standing at the door. Randall and his men had been talking so loudly that it was impossible for Sylas not to hear them. Knowing Hayden was in danger, Sylas had prepared himself before entering.
Seeing Sylas, Randall realized he must be Hayden's boyfriend.
With a swift motion, Randall drew a knife from his waist and brandished it at Sylas. "We've taken a liking to this woman. Now get the hell out of here, and we'll pretend we didn't see you."
"Otherwise, I'll kill you," Randall threatened.
After all, his life was precious, and he didn't want to risk it here.
Sylas couldn't help but laugh upon hearing this. Randall, already seething with anger, became even more furious.
"What the hell are you laughing at? Do you have a death wish?" Randall shouted. "If you want to die, I'll make it happen."
Sylas calmly pulled out his handgun and aimed it at Randall's head. "Say that again."
Randall was stunned into silence.
