Capítulo 3: Chapter 1:- Not so perfect start
The Public High school, Concord, New Hampshire
A middle aged man and a teenager who, judging by his face should be around 15 years of age was seen walking side by side towards the parking of the school.
The older man has black hair with tufts of white hair growing all over the head and an average face and a lean build hinting that the man must exercise from time to time to maintain his figure
But if the older man was ordinary in all aspect, the younger boy is the one who must be stealing the attention of all the nearby people and why won't he, what with deep black shoulder length hair and almost otherworldly handsome face with silver hunter eyes and a light beard starting to grow on his face to complement his already good genes.
But that was just the face, the boy had a body on slightly bulker side with muscles that are as if photoshopped with seemingly no imperfection, wearing the supposed school uniform with cream shirt, black pants and red blazer with the school's logo on the chest pocket. All in all the teenager looked better than most the boys his age hope to look like in their imagination .

Mc pov:-
"You do not need to send me off, Principal Charles"
"It is not a problem, but will you really not reconsider Mr. Ansaldo?. The professors have all reported that you are starting to show signs of recovering from your trauma, if you can just take help from a therapist like i suggested, you won't have to go to a different country." He said.
"I appreciate your concern for my wellbeing Principal Charles, but this city has nothing but bad memories for me and i need a break from the constant reminder of things that happened, and for that going abroad feels like a great idea"
Just then a black Mercedes s500 came to a stop in front of them.
extending a hand for a handshake, "I guess this is it for me principal charles, thank you for taking care of me for all these years".
meeting his hand with mine for the handshake "I guess you have already decided, but know that if you ever changed your mind, our doors are always open for you" he said, and started walking back inside the school.
i turned around to see a man exiting from the driver's seat of the car infront of me. The man had silver hair, an aged face with a lot of scars and kind black eyes. Just looking at his face made you think that this man must have been through a lot in his life to get scars like this, maybe even an army veteran, but seeing him in a butler suit would throw away all those notions.
When i first saw him, i thought i was in a very derailed world of solo levelling because he looked exactly like go gun hee. He was even half korean from his mother's side too. But no he was just a butler from a family which have been serving our family from generations
I was broken out of my musing when i found the gate of the car in front of me opening.
"Master Ajax?", said the butler
"Ah, I am sorry Robert, i was lost in my thoughts"
" no worries master ajax , A young mind like yours are full of different thoughts to indulge in, but i suggest you get inside the car first as it is getting cold now, or if you have some unfinished business to take care of, you can, while i'll wait here for you". The butler (Robert) replied nodding his head towards a tall boy my age standing a few steps away from us, looking hesitant on whether to approach us or not.
"please give me a couple of minutes, Robert" i told him while starting to walk towards the boy
"Ofcourse" i heard from robert who, closed the gate he had opened for me.
Abraham John Constantine, was the name of the boy i am walking towards, descendant of the famous 'John Constantine' of this world, though the history's take of him is different from our world but still his blood still lives and this boy was nothing if not proof that the man's blood is still powerful. I mean the boy is not even 16 yet already boast about 190cm(6'3) in height with muscles that would take a normal human atleast two years of intense workout, in less than one-third of effort.
I mean i myself am 175cm(5'10) in height and am still growing, though my growth has shunted because of some reason making this guy take the lead in the growth spurt. But that does not mean he will skip any chance for gloating infront of me. You might ask, why would he tease you, well because he is my best friend who has been with me since our childhood.
Me and Abraham, who by the way looks like cain from second life ranker, if only that guy was an american instead of korean, has been together since play school. We sort of just clicked together from the get go. We were both good at studies and had serious obsession with cars and music and we loved to compete with each other. We had other similar interest, but that is one long list i won't bother going into now.
Me and him released a song together too, well i wrote and composed it and he sang it because, well he was born a better singer than me, though i won't be behind for long. The song was Treat you better by Shawn Mendes, before you ask, yes it hasn't released here yet and their was no news about Shawn Mendes either so, Future knowledge for the win.
Having reached him, their was this awkward silence between both of us, as lately we have been a little distant with each other, well mainly me because of the residual feelings of the me in this world before both of our souls merged with each other, its complicated and i will not dwell on it now.
"So, first i wanted to apologies for how i have been treating you recently, i know whatever i go through in my personal life shouldn't affect how i interact with you, but....
"I don't want to hear it" said abraham somberly
"i didn't come here to listen to your excuse of whatever it is that made us distant with each other, we both know that whatever you'll tell me is gonna be a lie," he continued
"listen we both have our secrets, in middle school you saw something inexplicable during lunch when i was in the playground"
"yea, so?" i shrugged
"well, i was really grateful you had not asked any question then, so i will also not ask, but i want you to know, you are and always will be my best bud. So lets both sort out whatever shit, which is going on inside our lives, and then we will talk seriously with no more secrets."
Even though, we human beings learn throughout our lives that we shouldn't let the opinions others have of us to affect us, but damn if didn't needed that. And whatever happens in the future, i am really grateful that i atleast got to meet a friend like him.
"Woah are you ok?, you are not chronically ill are you AB"? asked Ajax
"what??" he deadpanned
"I mean that was a very mushy speech you gave their, i didn't even know why you didn't barfed yourself mid speech with the amount of cringe you just spouted from your mouth." said ajax while making vomit emote from his face
"you know what, you are right, i have to go scrub my tongue using bleaching powder." he said while turning around.
"hey wait," i called him while grabbing his forearm.
he stopped and looked at me with a raised eyebrow,
Taking out a diary from my coat pocket and handing it to him, "Well, since i won't be here and i don't to make any songs without you, i want you to keep this"
"well, be seeing ya"
i didn't wait for his response and walked straight through the opened door of my car, courtesy of my ever helpful butler, cause the whole encounter was very strange and cringe and did not want to experience it any longer. More than two decades worth of doctrine that my past world's society had put me through won't go away this easily, which means no openly sharing of feelings between two male friends without finding it cringe, atleast not until a few years down the line.
"Have you finished all your business here, master ?" asked robert while getting on the driver's seat.
"yes"
"straight to the ancestral mansion then?" he asked again
"yes"
"by the way, i saw you chatting with the principal, he seemed very concerned about you, don,t you think so master ajax?" asked robert while he looked at me from the rear view mirror.
scoffing," concerned, him?? yeah right"
"more like concerned for the amount of money he will loose, since we won't be donating any money to the school anymore, but you knew that already, didn't you"?
"Well, the world runs on the principal of personal interest, one can never be more cautious while dealing with people who have something to gain from us" he replied
" i am not that gullible anymore robert"
"i never said you were master, i was just making light conversation with you" he said while chuckling
"yeah right" ajax said while rolling his eyes
after that their was a comforting silence inside the car.

woah the rewards for the bonus objectives are much more than others, then again it following with a chain quest might be a big reason for it, as for the first quest, if only i could have do something
When i arrived in this world it took my soul a few years to assimilate with the me of this world already present due to my karmic cycle being connected to it. During that time, i could only see the life of the other me like movie on screen, without interfering, but i didn't need to interfere mostly because i had a peaceful childhood , My parents of this world were very loving, my mother was magician so was my father at least thats what they told me, frankly i didn't believe them, atleast not completely.
While i was watching the life of the me in this world through a screen, the me of this world was experiencing my life through dreams, but before we could fully merge ,it happened
it was a day like any other, i got up, did my morning routine , got to school, returned , did my supernatural history lessons with mom and then a little spar with dad, and then went out to for a evening walk, after returning i found out that their were some guests inside our house.
When i reached our living room to see , who was it, i found one Man with traditional egyptian attire and two people who were wearing black robes standing behind him, but it was the atmosphere inside the room that made me uneasy.
My father told me to go into my room and wait their , judging by his stern expression i didn't question him and straight away went to my room
I didn't know why i was feeeling so uneasy even though, i knew my father was atleast high class power wise same with my mother, the me of this world before merging wouldn't know but i did, but alas i couldn't interfere and no matter who tells me that it wasn't my fault, i still couldn't ignore the heart wrenching agony that i still feel even after 5 years of that night, whenever i reminisce about what happened next.
After few minutes of me pacing inside my room in unease, i found my mother suddenly barging inside my room, now my mother have always been on the calmer side of the scale, but she always had that gentle smile on her face whenever she was with me, but that night was the most serious and cold i had ever seen her..
She told me stay inside the room and hide, and no matter what i heard i shouldn't get out whatsoever the reason. She told me either her or father will come and get me when everything is over or Robert will be the one, but under no circumstances was i to exit my room and she handed me the lordship ring of the house, while whispering just in case, which i wasn't suppose to hear or not i do not know, because just then we heard a loud explosion and the whole house shook
My mother taking a deep breath and kissing me on the forehead left telling me to lock the door from inside. I waited, even when i heard my father's painful scream i waited , because ignorant i might be, but foolish i was not. If even my parents couldn't defeat whoever they were fighting then by going down now, i will only waste whatever effort my parents made to keep me safe, worse if their was even a little chance of my parents winning and i got taken as a hostage.
But after a few minutes the house stopped shaking and it got quiet outside. Infact too quiet that after few minutes, even though i said i wasn't foolish, i still went down to check, and what i saw gave me chills.
Their was no sign of my father anywhere neither of the people in black robes, and through a hole in the wall leading towards our garden i saw the one with traditional egyptian attire holding my mother by neck who had one of the glass like wings? bend in an unnatural angle, i don't remember very well as i was more thinking about how to save my mother.
Then, i saw a pamphlet with devil summoning circle inscribed on it, now i had learned from my mother about their usage, and knew how to summon one. Now i wanted to stop the other me from using it, since i didn't recognize the circle, meaning it wasn't shown in the canon meaning it could be from old satan faction.
But the me of this world had already summoned the devil, and as i feared it was from the asmodius house, when he asked me what i desired , the other me had requested him to save our mother. It had agreed and for the price it had asked that i give up my ability to use magic, the other me had agreed as i would have in his place, to me nothing mattered more than saving my mother at that moment.
it fulfilled the contract, it killed the unknown person in traditional egyptian attire, but then he showed his true face when he turned to me while saying "and do tell me, who is going to save you from me after i take this"?
As soon as he said that, i felt a sudden emptiness inside me which followed with the most excruciating pain i had felt in both the lifetimes combine. I fell on my knees while screaming, the pain was so intense that i was slowly loosing my consciousness, then i heard my mother scream no, their was a flash of light and then nothing , as i lay their in extreme pain gradually loosing consciousness, when thankfully the system completed integrating with our souls and issued a emergency quest which stated to stay conscious until help arrives, from which i got tsunade's complete medical ninjutsu mastery.
But the problem was all the skills and abilities i get from the system needs mana to use, because their is no chakra similar to naruto verse, and since the devil had made me cripple i couldn,t use the skills i got, it was only because of the mana stored inside the lordship ring of our family that i got saved, as loosing your mana veins which are an integral part of our body is equivalent to loosing your blood veins and at the same time it healed enough of my magic circuits, that made healing them completely possible, hence my first ongoing quest.
