Capítulo 185: 185. Asleep

Paige didn't come down for dinner and went quickly to sleep. The plan to go shopping was already abandoned while she ate lunch in the canteen. She was so exhausted that the idea of going to a mall seemed more like a punishment than a reward.

A few hours later, she was awoken by someone crashing into her.

Startled, she widened her eyes. Not knowing what was going on, she was ready to fight and knock the intruder out. 

But then she smelled the familiar scent and felt the familiar figure on her; she was sure it was Lance who had lunged at her.

He was lying on top of her while holding her in a death grip.

"Lance?"

Not fully registering what happened, she wriggled a bit to turn on the light on the nightstand, while the other was greedily sniffing her hair.

Turning it on, she tried to get a glimpse at his face, her heart making somersaults from the fright.
