Overall pretty good story, though quite typical. A bit bias towards male characters, seemingly to justify the stupid things they did. I also despise whenever the main male character forced himself on the wife, and stated that she actually enjoyed it. 🤢 Just because one is reacting to physical stimulation, does not justify action against what one wants; that is just pure violation.
Warning! Abussive ML! In her past life the husband/ml died to save her so is that mean that he love her deeply? I don’t buy it! He used her like a prostitute and chained her on the bed so she can’t leave while he is on business trip!! He went physical with her as well, i.e slap, hurt her chin etc. True in her past life she wasn’t a good wife and mother. She hate him and love someone else. Didn’t treat the kids well. But it still doesn’t justify how he treated her. His mom claimed that he just didn’t know how to treat a woman so she should be more lenient and make the steps to cure the realtionship. Hell no! That is not love, that is a red arning sign. He is a psyco!! I am sure in the end he will be gentle loving husband but i am not sure i will continue reading this as i hate this kind of man, and i disagree that she needs to humble herself, love and care for him etc to make him treat her better. For me it’s a big warning red sign to run away from him. If it was me, i would choose to take the kids and leave the husband and the birth family. Start a new life, away from all the toxiness!! Need new ml. I won’t be able to forget how he used me then paid me, chained me in bed, slap, hurting my jaw and chin everytime we argue, etc. it doesn’t matter if he end up die for me. I might read and continue this if it’s free though…
I almost skipped this story after reading the summary but I'm glad I decided to give it a chance.
The relationship between Su Chaoxi and Xie Tianyin will keep you on your toes. I just hope the appearance of another white lotus, Min Xueyue, will be temporary. The building of relationship between husband and wife is difficult enough, no need for another person that would put a wedge between the two. Let them grow as a family. Taking care of the twins,Xie Mizhi and Xie Xuzhi. I just want an easy reading.
I thought it would be like cute family and strong fml/ml but i was wrong it toxic and the ml forced him self on fml 🤢 and the fml lead is so dumb,weak🥴
