Before you proceed, we kindly ask that you submit any phones or electronic devices you may have with you. This is a no-gadget establishment," he explained, extending a tray expectantly.

Delilah and Hunter exchanged a knowing look, silently acknowledging the real reason behind this request. Claudia had chosen this venue deliberately, a place where they couldn't record or document anything. Whatever was about to happen, she wanted complete control over it.
