Hearing Delilah's question, Hunter smiled, wondering if she was asking because she was jealous.

"Yeah. We are working together. But it's just work. There's nothing for you to worry about," he assured her.

"Who said I was worried about anything?" She muttered, and Hunter grinned.

"It's only natural if you're worried. No lady would be comfortable having their husband in the company of a man eater…"

"By the way, did your boss say anything about me? And how did his date with Chloe go?" Delilah asked, changing the subject quickly.

Hunter's voice was calm as he responded, "Why don't I tell you everything much later when I'm free?" He asked when Sabrina walked into his office.

Delilah nodded to herself, though she knew he couldn't see it. "Okay. I'll talk to you later then."

"Take care, Lila," Hunter said, his voice warm again, before the call ended.
