Capítulo 66: Heart-shaped Sandwiches

As Delilah stepped out of her bedroom very early the next morning to prepare breakfast for them, she was surprised to see Hunter standing by the island in the kitchen, with a mild frown of concentration etched between his brows as he prepared breakfast.

She stood by the door watching him and wondering why he was focused so much on something as simple as a sandwich.

Not wanting to draw his attention, she moved closer to see exactly what he was doing and butterflies fluttered in her belly when she saw that he was trimming the edges of the bread to make a heart shape.

What was she going to do with Blake? She mused as she cleared her throat to get his attention. "Good morning."

Hunter raised his head and a smile split his face when he saw her, "You are up. Good morning." he greeted before returning his attention to the sandwich.
