The group quickly divided the work and got busy. Some were responsible for finding a spacious area to set up the folding tents from their backpacks, others went to search for a water source nearby, and some caught crabs and the like in the sea for food.

By the time everyone gathered around the campfire, more than an hour had passed, and it was completely dark outside. The sky was cloudless, adorned only by twinkling stars.

Scattered around the campfire were several handsomely bound bread crabs, numerous small crabs, and abalones the size of half a palm, along with a few sea fish weighing a pound or two. These were the spoils of a half-hour's effort.

For the explorers, these offerings from the sea were as good as served on a platter.

In the group, Alina wouldn't so much as touch a spring onion, but Owen had an easygoing nature and knew a bit of everything, so after cleaning up the fish, he skewered them on sticks and roasted them over the fire.
