Capítulo 160: FINALLY SOME PEACE

THE FIRST thing that Lim Hojin did for Sora was to bring a trusted doctor to his house to check on his daughter.

Dr. Cha Yirin, a pediatrician that he knew even before the Rift Day, answered his call.

After Dr. Cha Yirin took a look at Sora's condition, Lim Hojin asked the ahjumma in charge of his household chores to give his daughter a bath.

Now, he was in the study to hear Dr. Cha Yirin's diagnosis.

"The child is malnourished, Hojin-ah," Dr. Cha Yirin said, talking to him comfortably as he requested. "She's too small and light for a four-year-old girl."

Lim Hojin clenched his hands tight.

He was mad, but he knew lashing out wouldn't improve his daughter's condition magically.

And, to be fair, he also hated himself for finding out about his daughter a little too late. He wasted four years of his life not knowing that he had a precious life to protect.

Hence, he kept his mouth shut while listening to the doctor.
