"Shizune, this is the fifth time you've sneaked a look at me."
"If you do it again, I'll use the teaching stick on you."
Shishou, with his face altered to resemble Tsunade's, sternly addressed Shizune, who was studying at the desk. Using his Phosphorus Beetles, he had not only transformed his face to look like Tsunade's but had also made some adjustments to make it appear more masculine.
With a blonde ponytail wig, Shishou now looked like a gender-swapped version of Tsunade, which captivated Shizune, whose cheeks remained flushed.
"I'm sorry," Shizune stammered, her face bright red. She then lowered her head and continued to study the Ryūchi Cave's Sage Mode scroll that Shishou had given her.
However, it only took a few minutes before Shizune couldn't resist stealing another glance at Shishou.
"Show me your hand," Shishou commanded sternly.
Shizune looked up at him timidly before hesitantly extending her right hand.
"Ah!" Shishou struck her hand with the teaching stick, causing Shizune to yelp and quickly withdraw her hand.
"Will you do it again?" Shishou asked, raising an eyebrow as Shizune hid her right hand behind her back.
"No, I won't," Shizune whispered, sneaking another glance at him.
"Good, let's move on to the next part of the lesson," Shishou said, starting to explain the basics of Ryūchi Cave's Sage Mode training. Although he didn't intend for Shizune to learn Ryūchi Cave's Sage Mode, he had to use its scroll to explain the basic points and precautions of Sage Mode, given her lack of understanding.
However, Shizune stared blankly at Shishou's gender-swapped Tsunade face, lost in thought.
Seeing this, Shishou sighed. Although he had initially planned to tease Shizune, her reaction was more exaggerated than expected.
Shizune, it seems you indeed have some indescribable feelings for Tsunade, Shishou thought to himself.
Leaning closer to Shizune's ear, he whispered, "Shizune, if you can learn Sage Mode within six months..."
"Tsunade-nii-san will grant any wish you have."
Shishou blew gently into Shizune's ear after speaking, causing her cheeks to turn an even deeper shade of red.
He's not Tsunade-sama... He's not Tsunade-sama... Shizune repeated to herself, feeling dizzy as she stood up shakily.
"Shishou-sama... I... I feel a bit dizzy... I need to rest," Shizune murmured before stumbling towards the door.
As soon as she stepped outside, she bumped into the real Tsunade, who had just returned from Shikkotsu Forest after releasing the reverse summoning technique.
This is the real Tsunade-sama... Shizune thought as she felt the softness of Tsunade's chest, looking up at her mentor before fainting from the overwhelming emotions.
Shishou chuckled at Shizune's reaction, amused by the situation.
"You really have a knack for impersonating me and teasing Shizune," Tsunade said, her forehead veins bulging with anger.
Shishou, sensing her rage, quickly reverted to his normal appearance and smiled sheepishly. "How was your training at Shikkotsu Forest?" he asked, trying to change the subject.
"I'll deal with you later," Tsunade snapped, not answering his question. She carried the unconscious Shizune to her room and laid her on the bed. However, Shizune clung tightly to Tsunade's clothes, refusing to let go.
After much effort, Tsunade finally freed herself from Shizune's grip and glared at Shishou, who was watching the scene with amusement.
"This is all your fault," Tsunade growled. "Shizune is becoming more and more clingy."
"Calm down," Shishou said, raising his hands in surrender. "How did your training go at Shikkotsu Forest?"
"Let's talk in the living room," Tsunade said, leading the way.
In the living room, Tsunade got straight to the point. "Was that battle outside the Sand Village your doing?"
"Yes," Shishou admitted. "I was fighting the leader of the Akatsuki organization. When the Sand Village forces arrived, we retreated."
"Was it your idea to spread the rumor that it was an internal conflict within Akatsuki?" Tsunade asked, referring to the information that Kirigakure's Mizukage, Mei Terumi, had disseminated.
"Sort of," Shishou replied. "Don't tell anyone about this."
Tsunade nodded, handing him a scroll. "Seeing how much you value Sage Mode, I decided to try learning it as well. Here's the training scroll from Shikkotsu Forest."
Shishou was surprised. He hadn't expected Tsunade to bring him a training scroll.
"Don't get the wrong idea," Tsunade said, turning away. "I'm just repaying you for helping me increase my chakra reserves."
Shishou watched her leave with a smile, then opened the scroll to study it. Mastering Sage Mode, like Hashirama Senju, and opening his own Sage Mode was still a ways off, but every bit of progress helped.
Half an hour later, Tsunade, having finished her bath, saw Shishou still engrossed in the scroll. She pursed her lips and headed to the training room to resume her long-neglected training.
If Shishou, who was already so powerful, was still working hard, she had no excuse to slack off.
Three days later, at dawn, Shishou, now transformed into a burly man with a scruffy beard, returned to his secret lab.
He retrieved Obito Uchiha's severed leg from a storage scroll and extracted a White Zetsu from it, using his Mangekyō Sharingan to control it.
"Only one left..." Shishou murmured, feeling a pang of regret as he looked at the leg. Obito's severed leg had been incredibly useful to him.
Placing the leg back in the storage space, Shishou had the controlled White Zetsu lead him to Obito's secret base. The White Zetsu, planted by Black Zetsu to monitor Obito, knew the exact location.
Moments later, Shishou's figure disappeared and reappeared inside a massive cavern.
"Is this Obito's room?"
Inside Obito Uchiha's secret base, after devouring the White Zetsu that had led him there and concealing his ability to control White Zetsu with the Sharingan, Shishou looked at the messy room before him with disdain.
It was incredibly disorganized!
Despite Obito's ruthless and cold demeanor in the Akatsuki, his personal life was a complete mess, resembling that of a reclusive, immature teenager. Socks were strewn about, shoes were randomly tossed, comic books lay everywhere, and used instant ramen containers were piled high.
In this regard, Obito truly embodied the saying, "Return home from half a lifetime of wandering, still a boy at heart..."
Creak!
The door to Obito's room opened, and a White Zetsu walked in. It paused upon seeing the mess, then complained, "That Obito, making such a mess."
"I always have to clean up after him..."
White Zetsu donned gloves from who knows where and began tidying up the room.
Shishou, hiding in the room, found it amusing. This White Zetsu almost seemed like Obito's mom...
The next second, Shishou appeared beside White Zetsu and used his Phosphorus Beetles to devour it.
Exiting Obito's room, Shishou devoured every White Zetsu he encountered with his Phosphorus Beetles. Soon, he found the place where Obito stored his ninjutsu scrolls.
After awakening his Mangekyō Sharingan, Obito Uchiha had died, but to ensure Obito could eventually resurrect him, Uchiha Madara had left many ninjutsu scrolls for Obito. These included numerous Uchiha clan secrets and forbidden techniques not found in the clan's secret archives, such as Izanagi.
Shishou speculated that the decline in the Uchiha clan's power, including their ignorance about the Mangekyō Sharingan, was partly due to Madara taking all these scrolls.
Among the scrolls were also some basic Yin-Yang Release techniques, such as how to create black rods. The rest detailed how to collect Tailed Beasts and resurrect the Ten-Tails. However, high-level techniques like the Reanimation Jutsu and Six Paths techniques were absent, indicating Madara hadn't trusted Obito completely and had hidden his most valuable techniques.
"What a great haul!"
Shishou was delighted as he looked at the scrolls before him. Although there were no quick methods to awaken the Rinnegan, Shishou had anticipated this since Madara had only awakened it in his eighties.
Storing all the scrolls in a box, Shishou used his Phosphorus Beetles to inspect the box, then created a shadow clone to take the box back to his secret base using the Flying Thunder God technique.
Next, Shishou entered another room in Obito's base.
"How many Uchiha clansmen did Obito slaughter?" Shishou wondered, seeing a wall filled with Three Tomoe Sharingan. If he hadn't intervened, Uchiha Izumi's eyes might have been among them.
Suddenly, Shishou disappeared from where he stood, reappearing at the room's entrance just as a space ripple revealed Obito's figure.
"You found this place!" Obito growled, his voice cold.
He had been investigating the whereabouts of the Flying Thunder God user in the Land of Water when White Zetsu found him and informed him that his base was being raided.
Shishou wasn't surprised by Obito's appearance. White Zetsu's Spore Technique wasn't easily detected, so it wasn't surprising it had notified Obito secretly.
"Hey, you finally returned?" Shishou greeted Obito with a smile, as if he had been waiting at a friend's house for a long time.
Obito seethed with anger at Shishou's mocking tone, his teeth grinding. "Don't push your luck!"
With that, Obito dragged someone out of the Kamui dimension.
"Hmph, we meet again," Kisame Hoshigaki sneered upon seeing Shishou.
Placing his hands on the ground, Kisame performed a jutsu. "Wood Release: Wood Spikes!"
After Obito had transplanted Hashirama's cells into Kisame, he could now use basic Wood Release techniques. Countless wooden spikes erupted from the ground, filling the room. Kisame surrounded himself with spikes, creating a hedgehog-like defense, limiting his movements but also preventing Shishou from using the Flying Thunder God technique to get close.
In the enclosed space, Shishou's Flying Thunder God was greatly restricted, and Kisame's wood spikes intensified this limitation. Obito used his intangibility to phase through the spikes and lunge at Shishou, ready to attack.
Tsk, Kisame got lucky with the transplant of Hashirama's cells, Shishou thought, shaking his head at the sight of Hashirama's face on Kisame's arm. He deftly dodged the spikes and Obito while weaving hand signs.
"Fire Release: Majestic Destroyer Flame!"
A sea of fire erupted, engulfing the entire base and incinerating everything. Shishou immediately used the Flying Thunder God to leave the base, leaving Kisame and Obito to endure the flames.
A minute later, estimating the flames had done their job, Shishou reappeared in the scorched base. Kisame was surrounded by a large water sphere, with two water sharks swimming inside, protecting him.
On the other side, Obito reappeared in mid-air, having escaped to the Kamui dimension.
"Hmph, is this the extent of your Fire Release?" Kisame mocked, dispelling his Water Release technique.
Shishou placed his hands on the ground again. "Wood Release: Wood Spikes!"
Countless wooden spikes filled the base, just like before. Kisame prepared to defend himself, only to realize the spikes avoided the space around him and Obito by a meter, filling everywhere else.
Idiot, Shishou chuckled, crossing his arms and watching Kisame and Obito without attacking or speaking.
Kisame and Obito exchanged confused glances, unable to figure out Shishou's intentions.
Suddenly, Kisame's expression changed. "The air!"
Obito's base was underground, with limited ventilation. While it was usually sufficient, the Fire Release had consumed all the oxygen, making it hard to breathe. Shishou could use the Flying Thunder God to get fresh air from outside, and Obito, having just returned from the Kamui dimension, didn't need to worry about it. But Kisame, who had been in the base the whole time, couldn't breathe, unlike when he was underwater.
Obito tried to phase through the spikes to reach Kisame and absorb him into the Kamui dimension, but the spikes obstructed him, preventing him from becoming tangible.
Shishou laughed, watching them struggle. "How do you like my Fire Release?"
