Orochimaru Substitution Technique!
Facing his changing body, Orochimaru used the substitution technique again, appearing on a nearby tree, vigilantly watching Shishou with a headache.
Hehe, the more you talk, the easier it is for my fleas to find you.
Shishou smiled as he watched Orochimaru flee again. He wasn't just using the Phosphorus Bugs to mark the Flying Thunder God technique; he was also controlling them to find Orochimaru.
Flying bugs were too obvious and would alert Orochimaru, so Shishou used fleas that were hard to detect. Orochimaru didn't have the Sharingan, so he wouldn't notice a few fleas.
It took some time for the fleas to locate the target, making them suitable for dealing with someone like Orochimaru, who loved to ramble and relied on his supposed immortality.
Against someone like Itachi, who didn't stay in one place for long, or people like Kakuzu and Kisame, who used large-scale techniques, it wouldn't work as well.
After some thought, Orochimaru, realizing he had no means to defeat Shishou with the Flying Thunder God, reluctantly raised his hand, "Alright, enough fighting. Let's continue our cooperation."
Summoning didn't work, Wood Release didn't work, he couldn't get close to Shishou, making the Eight Branches Technique useless, and regular ninjutsu was out of the question.
Orochimaru admitted this fight was unwinnable. Shishou countered him too well.
If he had known Shishou was the Flying Thunder God user, he wouldn't have started this fight. At least not until he figured out how to counter the Flying Thunder God.
"This is my apology."
"Here are the transplantation techniques and ten doses of Hashirama cells."
Orochimaru threw three scrolls and a vial of liquid to Shishou.
Shishou glanced at them and saw they were the techniques for Hashirama cell transplantation, cell cloning, and Hashirama cell implantation.
Not only did he provide the transplantation technique, but also the cloning and cultivation techniques.
"What is this gene liquid?" Shishou asked, picking up the vial.
"This is an improved version of Hashirama cell extract that I developed. To achieve perfect transplantation, you must use this. The scrolls explain how to extract it, but you need original cells from Hashirama's body, so the quantity is limited."
"These ten doses are my last stock. If your experiments fail, there's nothing I can do," Orochimaru explained patiently, eager to learn the secrets of Shishou's Mangekyou Sharingan.
"Original cells refer to those from Hashirama's body, not the ones cultivated later."
Seeing Orochimaru being so cooperative, Shishou decided to forgive him. He knew Orochimaru was hard to kill and wouldn't die anyway, so continuing to fight was pointless. Besides, he already had the transplantation technique and the extract, which was enough for now.
"The preparations I asked for, how are they?" Shishou asked after checking the scrolls with his Phosphorus Bugs.
"Everything is ready. Follow me," Orochimaru said, leading Shishou to Otogakure.
Upon arriving at Otogakure, Shishou saw a familiar face, the hunchbacked ninja from the Konoha Chunin Exams.
Orochimaru led him to a prepared underground chamber.
Wearing the Death God mask, Orochimaru began performing the Reaper Death Seal: Release!
The figure of the Death God, holding a short blade in its mouth, appeared behind Orochimaru.
Orochimaru took out a short blade and cut open his stomach, with the Death God mimicking his actions.
As the Death God's belly was cut open, a blue soul emerged—it was the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze.
Shishou quickly took out a sealing talisman and placed it on the Fourth Hokage's soul.
The talisman, crafted by Priestess Miroku using rare materials over three days, had potent and versatile effects. The moment it touched the Fourth Hokage's soul, it emitted a strong light, sealing it within.
Orochimaru, after cutting his stomach, emerged from his own mouth, leaping into the mouth of a bound woman in the corner.
Now, Orochimaru truly became a woman...
Holding the sealing talisman, Shishou was stunned by Orochimaru's actions.
Typical Orochimaru, changing gender without a second thought.
For a moment, Shishou saw a glimpse of divinity in Orochimaru.
Kurama once said that only tailed beasts and deities had no gender.
Now, there was also Orochimaru, who could switch between genders at will...
After successfully taking over the woman's body, Orochimaru put on a mask, transforming back into his original appearance.
"Alright, I've fulfilled my part of the deal."
"Now give me Uchiha Itachi's tissue."
Orochimaru, fixing his appearance, approached Shishou.
"And what will you trade for it?"
"This was just my payment for providing you with the masked man's cells."
Shishou put the sealing talisman away and headed for the exit, ignoring Orochimaru.
"You..."
Furious, Orochimaru thought for a moment, then suppressed his anger, "What do you want?"
Obviously, Orochimaru realized Shishou was extorting him.
"I need an assistant for my experiments, one without any issues."
Shishou turned to Orochimaru. He had no experience in conducting experiments, so he needed help. His subordinates were researchers but specialized in chemistry, not Orochimaru's field of biological cell technology.
A few minutes later, Orochimaru led Shishou to a hall, pointing to several people, "Choose one from them."
These were Orochimaru's carefully cultivated research assistants.
"I want one of these two!" Shishou pointed at Yamato and Kabuto standing behind Orochimaru.
He was surprised to see Kabuto already with Orochimaru. But it made sense; Kabuto had been a double agent for Danzo since the Third Shinobi War and had been with Orochimaru.
Orochimaru was likely busy with Hashirama cells and Mangekyou Sharingan research and didn't have time for a plan to destroy Konoha.
Thus, Orochimaru didn't need Kabuto as a spy in Konoha anymore.
"Don't be delusional!" Orochimaru glared at Shishou, looking quite feminine. Yamato and Kabuto were like his disciples and wouldn't be lent out.
Is this because he just took over a female body and hasn't adjusted yet?
Shishou silently mocked the femininity of Orochimaru, then pointed to a good-looking female assistant.
The other assistants were too unattractive to bear looking at.
Throwing the container with Uchiha Itachi's cells to Orochimaru, Shishou approached the trembling female assistant.
"Wait..."
Orochimaru, catching the container, saw Shishou leaving and gritted his teeth in anger.
Shishou hadn't revealed the secrets of the Mangekyou Sharingan yet!
Orochimaru then realized something and used the Body Flicker Technique to leave.
He appeared in an unnamed valley in the Land of Fire.
After using the Phosphorus Bugs to check that Orochimaru hadn't left anything on the female assistant, Shishou spoke to her, "Take off everything you're wearing and put this on."
Leaving her a white coat, Shishou moved behind a large tree.
If it were Mikoto, Yugao, or others, Shishou would shamelessly stay, refusing to leave even if told to. But he had no interest in other women.
The assistant, relieved to see Shishou leave, hid behind a rock, undressed, and put on the white coat.
A few minutes later, Shishou returned to the shivering assistant, who was only wearing the coat, and teleported them both with the Flying Thunder God technique.
In the secret underground lab in Huo Yuan City, Shishou and the assistant appeared on a platform.
"Get familiar with the environment and equipment. Tell me what you need next time," Shishou said before disappearing again.
He needed to head to the Land of Demons to deal with the Fourth Hokage's matter without delay.
In the Shrine of the Priestess in the Land of Demons, Shishou appeared next to the Priestess Miroku in her study. She was deeply engrossed in studying sealing techniques when Shishou walked over and embraced her from behind.
Startled, Miroku's hands lit up with a faint glow containing powerful sealing energy. Recognizing Shishou, she canceled the sealing technique and shot him an annoyed glance.
"Can you stop sneaking up on me like that? You nearly scared me to death," Miroku scolded.
Due to Shishou's frequent visits, Miroku no longer kept attendants in her study or bedroom.
Resting his head on her shoulder, Shishou kissed her cheek and teased, "Would you prefer if I announced my arrival with fanfare?"
"Absolutely not!" Miroku retorted, glaring at him. As the revered priestess of the Land of Demons, her clandestine meetings with Shishou were not something she could openly broadcast.
"Alright," Shishou said, inhaling her scent before asking, "Is the sealing room ready?"
"Yes, it's ready," Miroku replied.
"Let's get started then," Shishou said, teleporting them from the study. Though he was tempted to linger, there was important business to attend to.
In a secluded, airtight room, Miroku swatted Shishou's playful hand away and said sternly, "I'm about to begin the sealing ritual. Don't disturb me."
Nodding, Shishou retreated to a corner. Miroku formed a series of complex hand signs, causing numerous black sealing patterns to emanate from her body and transfer onto the walls of the room. After half an hour of intense concentration, a visibly exhausted Miroku finally completed the sealing.
"Here's the key to activate and deactivate the seal," Miroku handed Shishou a charm. "It can only maintain the seal for half an hour."
With that, she collapsed into Shishou's arms, completely spent. Shishou carried her back to her room, kissed her forehead, and returned to the sealed room.
Taking a deep breath, Shishou pulled out the charm sealing the Fourth Hokage's soul. Activating the room's seal, he felt his connection to the Flying Thunder God marks severed.
"The priestess's sealing techniques are incredibly powerful. Good thing she's on my side," Shishou mused before releasing the seal on the charm.
The spirit of the Fourth Hokage, wearing his iconic ceremonial robes, appeared before him.
"Shishou, what's going on?" the Fourth Hokage asked, recognizing Shishou from their previous encounters.
"Fourth Hokage, this room is sealed with a special technique that isolates you from the Pure Land, allowing you to manifest here," Shishou explained earnestly.
"This is the priestess's sealing technique from the Land of Demons? Impressive!" The Fourth Hokage nodded, studying the seals on the walls. As an expert in sealing techniques himself, he could appreciate Miroku's superior skill.
"Now, tell me, why have you summoned me?" the Fourth Hokage asked after examining the seals.
"I need you to transfer the half of the Nine-Tails sealed within you into this vessel," Shishou said, presenting a white jade bottle. "The Akatsuki organization is targeting Konoha, and I need the Nine-Tails' power to protect it."
"Akatsuki?" the Fourth Hokage echoed, confused. "Is this a new organization?"
"It's the group led by the masked man who unleashed the Nine-Tails on Konoha the night your wife gave birth. Their leader is extremely powerful, and each core member is at least of elite ninja strength. Their target is the tailed beasts, including the one within Naruto," Shishou explained.
Hearing that Naruto was in danger, the Fourth Hokage frowned with concern.
"Can you handle the Nine-Tails? It's extremely dangerous," he cautioned.
Shishou smiled, confident in his abilities. He had subdued the rampaging Three-Tails and Two-Tails before.
"You've suppressed the Three-Tails and Two-Tails?" the Fourth Hokage repeated in shock. "You were in the same class as Naruto, yet you can already control tailed beasts?"
To dispel any doubts, Shishou revealed a vine sprouting from his hand.
"Wood Release!" the Fourth Hokage gasped, now convinced of Shishou's capabilities.
Nodding, Shishou added, "I'm also close with Lady Tsunade. She's currently in the village." He showed a photo of Tsunade in Konoha, reinforcing his credibility.
Satisfied, the Fourth Hokage agreed, "Alright, I'll transfer the Nine-Tails into your bottle. But is this bottle reliable?"
"It's an ancient artifact passed down through the priestess lineage, with a very strong sealing effect," Shishou assured, opening the bottle.
"You have quite a connection with the priestess lineage," the Fourth Hokage noted, impressed by Shishou's resources and alliances.
"If you had refused, I would have just taken a tailed beast from another village. Takigakure's Seven-Tails seemed like a good candidate," Shishou said nonchalantly.
Alarmed, the Fourth Hokage quickly intervened, "That would start a war. Don't do that."
With Shishou's assistance, the Fourth Hokage successfully transferred the Nine-Tails' yin half into the white jade bottle.
After the transfer, the Fourth Hokage asked, "By the way, you once said you had met me in person. What did you mean by that?"
