Capítulo 55: Land of dreams

The entire land was painted in vibrant shades of green. Grasses and trees of various kinds filled the landscape, transforming it into a place where one could swear nothing had ever happened. Remarkably, it had only taken four years for this transformation.

The houses, whether standing or burnt, were no more; all had turned to piles of debris and dust, enriching the soil. The air around the place was cool and pleasantly fragrant, calming the nerves of everyone present.

Dan patrolled the area tirelessly, taking note of the changes. Different memories flooded his mind, both good and bad. He recalled the joy of first arriving here and the sorrow of losing his only sister.

Troy and the other young boys were busy setting up the area. They began clearing a small section and organizing the items they had brought along.
