And when Hope opened her eyes, her heart skipped a beat to see the familiar face, she blushed, but then flinched when he burst in anger at her recklessness.

"What do you think you are doing!?" Lucien steadied Hope and only let her go when he was sure that she wouldn't trip on anything again, but he kept holding to her arm, just in case. "Did I not make myself clear the last time?! And now you are out late at night again!"

Lucien was livid to know Hope was in this dangerous part of the city, alone in the middle of the night.

"I… I am with Samantha…" Hope tried to make an excuse, but immediately lowered her head when Lucien stared at her sharply.
