When Phina's eyelids flicked open, the room seemed too bright. Opening her eyes to the bright surroundings, she moaned. The interior's combination of black-and-white materials and white lights made the space too bright.

She became aware that she had left her room. The room and bed appear different, and she doesn't leave her room light on while she sleeps. Then she noticed a familiar smell tickle her nose. And a smile appeared on her face without her knowing.

She was dozing off face down, her head resting on Patrick's palm, when she turned to face her partner, who was soundly dozing on his back. How could he sleep so well with the lights on, she wondered? However, she was unaware she had also shared a bed with them.
