Eveline pondered the reason behind Alex's intense gaze. Being late, he had to sit apart from her when he got to the college.

As the lesson went on, Alex was waiting patiently to reach out to Evelin. As soon as the bell rang, he gathered his belongings and went to her bench.

His arrival startled Eveline, but she quickly overcame her fear and grinned at him.
