" What's this?" Emily stared at the clear glass bottle in Maggie's hand. She remembered that Maggie had been holding it when there had been an explosion in the house the other night, and that they seemed to be experimenting with something at the time.

"It's a potion we invented to mask odors. " Maggie explained, "As long as we apply the potion to our bodies, dog slaves won't be able to track our scent."

"Are you sure this potion works? " Susan stared at the potion in the glass bottle with skepticism, "Are there any side effects?"

" I don't know, but we have to try it." Maggie shrugged, " After all, there's nothing better to do right now."
