 " Elijah, help me." Haley called out Elijah's name over and over again, " Elijah, Elijah."

 Elijah stood in the dark corner, Haley's voice calling for help ringing in his ears. He remained motionless, his gray eyes fixed in the direction of the pool of blood.

 Elijah had prepared for him, at the bidding of the dark wizard, a hundred strong werewolves, and now the bodies of those hundred werewolves were immersed in pools of blood.

 The pool of blood was so deep that, even when the bodies of a hundred werewolves were thrown into it together, the height of the pool did not change at all. It was like an open-mouthed fiend that never knew how to be satisfied, devouring all living things, and the aura of evil seemed to emanate in a continuous stream from the depths of the pool of blood, pervading the whole space of the basement.
