 Klaus decided to return to the North after his interview with the King of the South, if all went well. Emily's successive encounters had made him dislike the city, and it was necessary for him to complete the mission his father had given him as soon as possible, and to leave this hellish place forever with Emily.

 Klaus sat in the king's drawing room. He glanced up at his watch. Ten minutes had passed. Why hadn't King James come?

 Klaus tapped his fingers impatiently on the armrest of his chair, his patience wearing thin as the minutes ticked by.

 At that moment, the door to the room opened, and a white figure entered slowly. Klaus frowned when he saw that it was Prince Adam, and not King James.

 "Nice to meet you, Alpha Klaus." Dressed in a light blue coat and wearing a royal gold badge on his chest, Prince Adam politely shook Klaus's hand.
