"Let's cut to the chase, Olivia. You and I both know you're not going to apologize or anything. So what do you want from me?" Allison asked, her hands tightly wrapped around a certain object as she waited for Olivia's response.
"What are you talking about, Allison? I brought you here so that I can apologize to you properly," Olivia tried to convince her with the sweetest voice. Unfortunately for her, the person who stood before her knew her all too well to believe she would actually apologize. "I do regret everything I've done to you," she added.
Allison stared at Olivia in silence for a few seconds, puzzled by the strange look in her eyes. Unable to shake the feeling that Olivia was staring at something behind her, she turned to glance over her shoulder, expecting to see someone—or something—there. But when she looked, the hallway was completely empty. Not a single soul in sight.
