Capítulo 15: Chapter fifteen
It was midnight, I wanted to call my daughter but I knew she is fast asleep by now. I wasn't sleepy, not in the bit, I can't sleep in peace now that am in this house and I can smell my revenge, but I need to look for dad, everyone should be asleep by now, it's the right time to look for him. But there is CCTV camera everywhere in this house.
While shopping today I got myself a new laptop as I didn't bring any of my stuff, I took it and hacked into the security system of the house, now the CCTV wouldn't work for the next hour, I had one hour to look for dad in this house.
I went out of my room and headed for dad's room, it was locked this morning, hopefully I can sneak in from the window. But when I reached the room I was surprised to see it open, I peeked in and guess what I saw, I saw my dad, he was bounded and chained like a dog, he looked uncleaned. His once beautiful and tidied hair was now messy, unshaved beard, torn and dirty clothes. He looked sick and starved.
But what burned my heart most was Helen sitting there in the room, with a bowl of food in her hand. " Plz feed me, I haven't been fed in two days" dad begged.
" Ohh doggy is hungry. Well I can feed you if you behave like the loyal dog you are, come on bark like a dog, and come and lick my shoe sole, it's really dirty" Helen said with an ugly smile.
Right there and then, I wanted to enter the room and beat the hell out of her, I would show her what a dog is like, but I can't act in haste can I.
Tears flowed down my eyes when I saw dad barking like a dog and licking Helens shoe, what condition has this cruel woman reduced my dad to, as if that is not enough, she kicked him on the face and he fell down grunting. She poured the food on to the floor, and stepped on it with her shoe. " Come on, come and eat the food else you wouldn't be getting any food for another two days, dogs should behave like dogs" helen said with an ugly scoff.
Dad started eating the food with both hands and Helen was laughing, I couldn't hold myself anymore, I was about to barge into the room when I heard kaida called my name.
Helen turned and we looked at eachother, before I turned to kaida. " Ruby what are you doing here so late in the night, you should be asleep by now, it's been a hectic day for you today" she said with fake concern.
" Well I wasn't able to sleep and I came out for a stroll, and thank heaven I did, after what I saw trust me am not gonna stay one more second in this house. How can you all be so inhumane to treat an elder man like this, a dog, I just heard your mother call him a dog, do you think I would withstand this and stay here like I saw nothing" I said angrily.
" Ruby my dear, not all you see is true" Helen said as she put her hand on my shoulder.
" Are you trying to tell me that am hallucinating and am blind, I can see as clear as daylight what you are doing to this poor man, you know what I would call the police, you would explain to them" I said angrily as I threw Helens hands off my shoulder.
" Ruby why don't you first listen to me, if you listen you can do anything you want to after that, you see that man inside there, he is none other than my father and her husband, why don't you think why a wife and daughter would treat him like that first" she said trying to justify herself.
" Wow kaida, I thought you were a good person, but now am disgusted by you, your very own father, in his house, you are treating him like a dog, just wow, nothing can justify your actions" I said with anger
I could see kaida trying to control herself, she closed her eyes then spoke up again." This man that you called my father isn't a human but an animal. He had held my mom captive for years, raped her, tortured her, hide her from the world, and then went on and married another woman".
" But that wasn't all, he married another woman, had another family, lived a luxurious life with his daughter and wife while keeping my mother hostage and a sex slave. She eventually had me, but he never considered me his daughter. As the years passed his wife died when I was just seven"
" His daughter aria found out about us and told him that he should bring us home. She didn't do it because she loved us, she wanted a toy and a slave. I was her toy, she did whatever it is she wanted with me and my mother her slave, we lived in hell"
"But this man didn't stop there, he used to rape both me and my mom even then, I was just seven, he would invite his friends and they would gang rape us while his daughter laughed at our misery"
" It continued over the years and he took the company and handed it over to his daughter aria, while my mom and I were his sex toys, as luck had it, he and his daughter met with an accident, she died and he lost his mind, my mom had suffered so much pain in his hands and she decided to take revenge from him, I was handed the company because I was the only living successor"
" Tell me, are we wrong after all we faced" kaida said and burst into tears. I wasn't buying that because every of her information was a lie, dad never raped her mom, nor her, Infact he respected them, they are the snakes. She thinks I would buy all this, but unbeknownst to her I am the aria she was talking about and this man isn't only her father but mine as well.
