Capítulo 23: Future Planning,10K Years Baron Aurelius Part-6

After recovering all his memories, tears started falling from Aurelius' eyes. Sophia... he didn't understand why she was part of his trial. The world he had been reincarnated into was a mortal one, and Sophia was mortal too. If he remembered correctly, he had given her everything: talent, providence, and cultivation. There was no way she should be mortal—it was confusing.

After a while, Aurelius composed himself. The darkness inside the tower shifted, and then the Lord of Gluttony arrived, seated on a grand throne. The imposing figure looked at Aurelius and asked, "You have nearly borne the fruit of gluttony. What do you think?"

Aurelius pondered the question, remembering everything—the sadness when his mother died, the hunger, the craving, the taste, and the hope. He also recalled his time with Sophia, the love, the family, the happiness, and the satisfaction. After a moment, he replied, "Sadly beautiful."

The Lord of Gluttony paused, murmuring, "Sadly beautiful... sadly beautiful..." Then he laughed heartily. "Good... Good... Good, Aurelius. I acknowledge you."

With those words, Aurelius felt a burning sensation from his mouth to the rest of his body as the Heaven Refining Gastrointestinal Tract formed within his soul.

After a while, Aurelius looked up and noticed the Lord of the Underworld had disappeared. He then went to the reception area, received all his rewards, and left, heading back to Cumbum Town.

Year 5001

It had been a year since Aurelius returned to his shop after completing the trial. He had already reached the peak of the 3rd realm, and the pearl on his forehead had turned yellow. Now, he was sitting cross-legged in his room, attempting to break through to the next realm: the Dantain Opening Realm.

The soul energy within his acupuncture points traveled through the meridians in his body, moving from his head to his feet and converging at the navel region. When the energy reached this area, it encountered a barrier, as if something was blocking its path. Aurelius, prepared for this, consumed a Dantain Opening Pill, which caused a crack to appear in the barrier. Like glass shattering, a new region formed, and a nascent dantain appeared.

The nascent dantain was a tiny dot-like shape. In this realm, Aurelius would need to refine all his energy towards the dantain, increasing its size and creating a stable internal world to store all his energy.

After the breakthrough, Aurelius opened his eyes and looked at the old man and Eisheth.

"Congratulations, Aurelius," Eisheth said. "You are one step closer to your goal."

The old man nodded in approval. "Not bad, kid. You have reached perfection in every realm. Now that you have reached the Dantain Opening Realm, the next step will be Spirit Root Genesis. But reaching perfection in the Dantain Opening Realm is much harder than you think. You will need a lot of resources: chaos energy, five elemental source energy, creation lightning dao, and various herbs."

He paused, then continued, "I think it's time for you to go to the 4th-tier battlefield. Only there can you find the resources you need."

Aurelius nodded. "Yes, it's been a long time since I fought to my heart's content. I will leave in a few years after stabilizing the situation."

He then looked at Eisheth and said, "I think I will need your help."

Eisheth replied, "Anything for you. What do you need?"

Aurelius proceeded, "Since I am going down the royal path, I need your help to create an intelligence network. I will be going to the battlefield in a few years. According to my estimate, in approximately 5000 years, give or take, I will reach the peak of the 4th realm. After that, I will take another trial of the Lord of the Underworld. So, I need you to create an intelligence network within this time."

Eisheth responded confidently, "Sure, Aurelius."

Aurelius leaned forward, his eyes sharp with focus. "First, we need to outline our strategy. The intelligence network must be extensive, covering not just our immediate surroundings but also other realms and regions. We need to gather information on political figures, military leaders, and influential families. Our goal is to understand their strengths and weaknesses thoroughly."

Eisheth nodded, taking notes. "I understand. We need to know everything about everyone."

"Exactly," Aurelius continued. "We'll start by establishing a base of operations in key locations. I want us to have a presence in major cities and strategic outposts. Each base will need to be equipped with skilled operatives who can blend in and gather information discreetly."

"How do you propose we find these operatives?" Eisheth asked.

"We'll recruit from various backgrounds," Aurelius explained. "Former soldiers, spies, and even commoners with the right skills. We need people who are loyal and can keep secrets. We should also have a rigorous training program to ensure they can handle any situation."

Eisheth nodded, jotting down the details. "And what about the timeline?"

Aurelius thought for a moment. "In the first 1000 years, we should focus on recruitment and training. Set up our bases and start gathering basic information. From 1000 to 3000 years, we need to expand our network, making connections and infiltrating key circles. By the 4000-year mark, we should have a comprehensive understanding of the political landscape. The last 1000 years will be about refining our operations, ensuring we have spies in every significant place."

"That makes sense," Eisheth said. "And what about the Abyss Organization?"

Aurelius's expression darkened. "The Abyss Organization is a significant threat. They are an evil group with vast resources and dangerous plans. I want you to keep a close eye on them. We need to know their movements, their members, and their schemes. Place our best spies in their midst. We must uncover their plans before they can act on them."

"Understood," Eisheth replied. "I'll make sure we have our most trusted operatives on this task."

"Good," Aurelius said, satisfied. "We also need to establish a method for communicating securely. Use coded messages and hidden channels to ensure our information is safe. Any breach could be disastrous."

"I'll handle it," Eisheth assured him.

"One more thing," Aurelius added. "We need to ensure our network is self-sustaining. It should be able to operate independently, even if something happens to us. Train leaders within the network who can take over if necessary."

Eisheth nodded again, determined. "I'll make sure of it. We will have the most efficient intelligence network ever created."

Aurelius smiled. "Thank you, Eisheth. I trust you completely. Let's get started."

With that, they began planning in detail, outlining every step and ensuring no aspect was overlooked. The future depended on their success, and they were both committed to achieving their goals.

Year 5005

After four years of meticulous planning and ensuring everything was in place, Aurelius stood ready. He had brief but crucial discussions with Eisheth and the old man, finalizing their strategies and contingencies. Satisfied with their preparations, Aurelius set off towards the 4-tier Southern battlefield.
