Choose one of the nearest snack shops, then Wijaya goes inside and greets the shop owner.
"Excuse me," said Wijaya, calling the shop owner.
While waiting for the shop owner to arrive, Wijaya looked at the inside of the shop, where various sides of the shop were filled with various types of snacks which were sold in large plastic bags at least one meter high.
There are also several shelves installed inside the shop, which display some good quality snacks.
Wijaya's goal was some light snacks in a large plastic bag nearby.
Inside the large transparent white plastic, there are various types of snacks such as fried peanuts, various types of fruit chips, dry cakes and so on.
"Oh…welcome" a thin middle-aged man came from inside the shop.
He looks normal, wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
"Sorry for making you wait, there was a need for a moment," apologized for making Wijaya wait.
"It's okay boss, just relax," answered Wijaya in a relaxed tone, not minding the shop owner's delay in serving him.
"Thank you for your generosity young man, then what do you want to buy?" Asked the shop boss.
"I want to buy some dry snacks at your shop, boss," Wijaya answered again.
"Oh, you've come to the right place, young man, here is a shop that guarantees crispy and good quality snacks," the boss replied proudly.
"I want to buy a light snack of fried peanuts and fried sticks, how much does it cost, boss?" asked Wijaya.
"Do you want to buy per kilo or one bale (referring to a large plastic bag containing at least 5-10 kg of light snacks)? Ask the boss back.
" How much does it cost per kilo and one bale?" Ask Wijaya again.
"For one kilo of fried peanuts the price is 5 dollars, while the price for one bale is 27 dollars which contains 6 kg of fried peanuts," the boss answered.
"Then how much does a fried stick (a snack in the form of a small stick made from flour) cost?" Wijaya asked again.
"The price of one kilogram of fried sticks is 3 dollars and for one bale the price is 17 dollars which contains 6 kg," answered the boss again.
After hearing the Boss, Wijaya then started calculating roughly in his mind, until he decided to buy one of each of these snacks.
"Okay, then I'll buy 1 bale of fried peanuts and 1 bale of steak," answered Wijaya, making the order.
"Okay, wait a moment" then the boss started preparing Wijaya's order, and soon he finished packaging it in large plastic.
"Here's your order, and the price is 44 dollars," answered the boss
"Okay, here it is, boss," handed over the money, then he said again, "But boss, I want to leave my goods here first, because I have to buy other things." Wijaya asked for the boss's approval to put his goods there first, because he couldn't possibly buy other necessities with those big snacks.
"Oh, it's okay, please go shopping and you can leave it here safely." His boss allowed Wijaya to put his things where he was and guaranteed their safety.
After that, Wijaya said goodbye to the boss and went to another area where he would buy plastic to wrap the snacks.
After walking back for a while, in the market area then Wijaya found a shop that specialized in selling various types of plastic and party equipment.
There, Wijaya then bought two types of clear plastic, measuring a quarter kg, and also a plastic measuring 50 cm, which he would use as a container for the snacks he would sell.
At the plastic shop, Wijaya spent around 15 dollars to buy various types of plastic, as well as several other tools such as candles and plastic scales.
After buying everything, Wijaya then rushed back to the parking lot where he would get his motorbike and return to the snack shop.
And when he arrived at the snack shop, he thanked to the boss, and Wijaya then took all his shopping and went to his house.
And this time it took him a little longer to arrive at his house because he had to be careful when bringing his snacks.
Arriving back at his house, Wijaya then brought all his shopping items to his room, where he would continue sorting the items.
After his father went to trade during the day, because now he still needed to help his father a little more to prepare his merchandise.
Long story short, after lunch and taking his father to trade, Wijaya then started preparing light snacks that would be resold.
Where He started counting with calculator, how many light snacks should be made using a quarter of white plastic. Which will then be closed using candles.
"Okay, here there is 6 kg of fried peanut food, with a price of 27 dollars. If divided into 1 kg, it will be 4.5 dollars for one kg.
"In 1 kg of fried peanuts, how many grams should I set aside to make profitable snacks?" Wijaya started to think again.
In the end, Wijaya decided to make this fried peanut snack in 50 gram units.
Which means 1 kg can make 20 packs of snacks, multiplied by 6 kg, he can make 120 packs of snacks.
After thinking about this, Wijaya started to think again about what selling price should be applied to the unit price of his snacks.
"Oh...how much should I sell it...emmmm...okay, it's been decided, just 50 cents, with a distribution to the shop owner who will entrust this snack, 10 cents per pack of light snacks, OK it's been decided." Wijaya has already set the selling price for the snacks. then start sorting the fried beans and fried sticks into the prepared plastic containers.
From putting the snack in plastic and weighing it then covering it with wax.
Wijaya spent more than 2 hours, from 12 noon to more than 2 noon, he just finished wrapping all the light snacks.
There was only less than 1 hour left before he picked Celine up from school.
"Huuuu...it's really tiring to wrap so many of these light snacks...but even so, seeing the number reach 240 packs, I feel happy..." Wijaya was happy when he saw the pile of light snacks he had managed to make.
Of that amount, he will sell for 50 cents x 240 = 12,000 cents which is divided by 100 to 120 dollars.
Calculating all the capital spent, Wijaya found that he made a 100% profit because his capital was only 60 dollars.
But then Wijaya realized that there was another deduction, namely the commission from the shop which would be handed over as a place to leave his snacks.
Amounting to 24 dollars, assuming 10 cents x 240 packs of snacks = 2400 cents = 24 dollars.
"This is already quite a figure, getting 96 dollars for these two types of snacks, if I add the light snacks then of course the amount will definitely increase.
Counting the snacks sold once a week, I feel very happy thinking about the numbers." Wijaya was happy to calculate the numbers that he could possibly get from this business.
