Capítulo 134: A curse

Eiravyne moved to lie down on her bed, the emotional exhaustion overwhelming her. Waiting for Ilkar's response felt like an unbearable weight, and she closed her eyes, trying to steel herself against whatever he might say.

Ilkar stood up, and she felt the bed shift as his weight moved away. His presence loomed over her, a mixture of tension and resolve in the air. He took a deep breath, his voice gentler but still firm as he spoke.

"You are still not fully recovered," he said, his tone carrying a note of command. "You better sleep and never think of anything. Remember, I chose you when you asked me to.."

As Ilkar turned away and left, his words echoed in Eiravyne's mind, intertwining with Ilomina's earlier accusations.

 He had said he chose her when she asked him to, and Ilomina's harsh words about her fragility and manipulation clawed at her thoughts.
