As the sun set, the elites of Lake City started making their move towards the Farrell banquet. There was distinct excitement in the air as the women checked their dresses and makeup to make sure they looked perfect. 

These ladies wanted to shine brightest whether it was for business or personal purposes. After all, it was a rare occasion to have the best businesspeople gathered on the spot. For instance, wannabe stars like Scarlet were plotting to connect with those involved in the movie industry.

The men were also concerned about their looks, but their focus was on reviewing the information about other attendees. Most were looking for business connections through the party, but a few had personal motivations. 

Gold-digging was no longer a field that discriminated between genders. Therefore, a few men hoped to connect with the young heiresses who could elevate their position in their families or even become their long-term meal ticket.
