Destiny's POV
"Dad, I don't think I should sign these documents. Would you give up everything you worked hard for your greedy twin brother and his wife? I wondered how Carmen ended up marrying you when she was married to that jerk uncle of mine?" I asked. I wanted to laugh at the expression written on Antonio's face, and I knew how much he wanted to slap me.
"Destiny, don't test my patience. For your information, your Uncle Antonio is not a jerk," he responded.
"Oh really? Who was in his right mind to use his wife and stepdaughter as pawns or leverage to get what he wanted? He has a sick mind, Dad. I am so thankful he wasn't my dad." I mumbled, and his face turned so red with anger, and I could see his fists curled on his sides.
"Destiny, watch your mouth. He is still your uncle, and you have to respect him and Carmen." He responded, and I shook my head as I tore the papers in front of him. His face turned redder as his anger toward me heightened.
