Red's POV

I have to wake up early tomorrow, but I ended up drinking in the bar on the ground floor of my house after Destiny retired to her room. My right hand was gripping my shot glass as I curled my other fist on the countertop. I lost her once more before I could have her again. It was so stupid of me not to tighten my security.

How will I win back her heart when the odds are always against us? Is Destiny not really for me? She should be and will always be.

She doubts me after she sees Carmie. But she had no choice since she wanted to see her father, and I was the only key, and no one else could help her. I didn't want Destiny to speak with Fabian yet, for she might get hurt if she found out what happened to Alejandro, but I didn't want her to hate me more.
