Vano was silent as he stared at his father's face, who had been quiet. Vano knew that it wasn't just Connor, but his father also seemed to have problems with all his other uncles and aunts. They were friendly to Alexa but only occasionally talked to Dominic about unimportant things. It seemed like they were all trying to play as people who got along in front of him and Freya. But Vano knew that their gazes were always uncomfortable with each other when they had to talk.

Not just him. But Freya seemed to realize the same thing. The girl occasionally kept stealing glances at him. As if trying to ask, what happened between the adults.

Their room was empty because the sky was dark, and most of them had to return to their families at home. Only Connor hadn't returned. Vano's uncle seemed to have something to say to Alexa before returning to his house like the others.
